This is a horror series, plain and simple. Miyu is a vampire princess, pretending to be a school girl. She destroys monsters, and is in search of her mother. This series is frightening for more than just being a horror series... It is frightening because of the message left behind after each episode. A message to remind us... Sometimes more than that.
The message is different to everyone... What will it mean to you? Monsters usually take the forms of humans, but not all of them are bad. In the end however, it is always the same. They are destroyed by Miyu in a firey inferno. Thus Miyu continues on her way, with her comrads, and pet to find her mother, return the monsters back from where they came from, and perhaps to have a taste of your blood.
