The story of "Spirited Away" is several years old, but only recently has it been brought over to America. Disney is presenting this "Studio Ghibli" film aswell as a few other Ghibli classics. In this story a sad young girl by the name of Chichiro is traveling with her family to their new home.
Along the way they take a wrong turn and end up in an abandoned fair ground, or so it seems. Chichiro goes to explore, and runs into a boy who tells her to leave at once. Many frigtening and wonderous things happen to Chichiro while she is in this fair ground, including working at the local bath-house.
The basics are that Chichiro's name is taken and changed to Sen. If Chichiro doesn't get her name back she will become Sen forever, and forget her life. It's a great adventure for Chichiro, and in the end she no longer feels sad, but happy to carry on with her life and her memories of her adventure in the abandoned fair grounds, and all who inhabited that place.
