This series, is based on 1 of China's 4 great novels. It also takes a slightly different path than the 23 volume manga series. The evil queen of the "In" or "Yin" dynasty, Dakki is a creature that must be stopped. The person selected to carry out this task is Taikoubou, a sennin (immortal), who has been handed the Houshin List. The Houshin List, is a list of 365 names, of other sennin and doushi (training to become sennin). Taikoubou must seal the souls of all 365 of the people on the list. After their bodies are destroyed, their souls are seald in the Houshin Dail.
The point of this was simple. The human world was deteriorating, and the sennin wanted to set things strait. The Houshin List will take many years to complete, and the story spans quite a ways. Taikoubou must gather allies if he is to defeat Dakki, but she too has allies of her own. All sennin have weapons called "Poa Pei", each is different, and controls a very different power. Dakki's main influence is a spell called "Temptation", which she used to become queen, and which keeps the king under her influence.
