What can be said....? Well. This is the most insane, and hillarious 6 ep OVA/OAV I've ever seen! The music is great, the plot is unique. The characters seem to have interesting lives. Throw all that into a blender, hit "Hi", then throw in robot aliens in the shape of hands, a robot hero with a TV for a head, a crazy woman with a guitar, and a giant iron in the middle of nowhere..
...and you get FLCL!!!
To that mix, toss all the flipped out stuff you could never dream of, with a killer music track. On the negative side, the company that licensed the 6 episode OVA/OAV has put it onto 3 DVDs, instead of 2. This is greed people, and it's sad. Cost varries depending on where you live.
Anywhere from $29US, up to $40US per DVD.
If you look past the cost however, then this is by far the coolest thing ever. Rent it if you can, and buy it if you love dying with laughter.
