A red and black light shone from the computer screen. The girl seated in front of it brushed her black hair out of her face. One hand touched the screen. She was pulled in instantly.
Elsewhere, a silver, blue, and black light shone from the screen. Two girls in front of it set their fingertips to the screen. Then they, too, were pulled in.
A green light edged with black that glowed from a screen got the girl's attention. She walked toward it. Curious, she leaned in close, black hair falling forward. She, like the others, was pulled in.
A pink light shone from the screen, although black light lanced through it. The girl reached out to touch it. She was startled, scared speechless, when she was pulled in.
When he saw the purple and black light shining from his computer, the boy walked over to it. No matter what key he pressed, the light still glowed. One strong hand reached toward the screen. Eyes hidden by glasses widened as he was pulled in. In mere moments, he was gone. All that remained were his glasses.
The screen's dark glow surprised the boy. He gazed at it almost impassively before reaching out with his right hand. Just before his fingers touched the screen, he was pulled into the screen.
Yellow light that alternated with black shone from the screen. It gently enveloped the boy sitting at the computer. Amazed, he reached out with one hand. Suddenly he was drawn into the computer.
Orange and black light shone from another screen. It was reflected on the glasses of the boy sitting in front of it. After a moment, he reached toward the screen. The moment his fingers touched the screen, he was pulled in.
He who had been the Master of Digimon wasn't surprised when a black and white light shone from his computer screen. With confidence the others hadn't shown, he reached toward the still glowing screen. After he touched it, he was drawn into the screen. His sunglasses were all that didn't get pulled in.
The ten who had been pulled into their monitors emerged in the Digiworld. They ended up together. None of them were dressed as they had been before they had been pulled in. Auras of the color of the light that had sone from their screens briefly surrounded them before becoming oval digivices and tags with crests. Ten hands grabbed the items.
The girl that had had the red aura looked at her digivice, crest, and clothes. A red handkerchief was wrapped around her hair. Red leather pants were tight on her legs, but still comfortable. She wore a loose red t-shirt. Her crest, although she didn't know it, was very similar to the Crest of Love. The only difference was that the two halves were separated and looked like they had been torn apart. The digivice was black with a red edging.
The girl who used to have the silver aura also inspected her things. She wore silver bracelets on each wrist, as well as a silver necklace and earrings. Her long auburn hair had silver streaks through it. Her crest looked like the Crest of Perseverance, except that it was broken through the middle. Her digivice was black with a silver edging around it.
The girl who used to have the blue aura had blue eyes. She wore a long blue skirt and a blue t-shirt. Blue beads around her neck completed her outfit. Her face and eyes had an icy quality to them. Her crest looked like the Crest of Friendship, although it had been inverted vertically and split into two parts. Her digivice was black with a bright blue edging.
The girl who used to have the green aura brushed her hair from her Asian face. Her green skirt was short, only coming down to her upper thighs. Her pale green blouse was almost too tight. She looked like someone who lied often. Her crest, although similar to the Crest of Sincerity, was split into two halves. Her digivice was black with green edging.
The last of the girls had had a pink aura. She was modestly dressed in shades of pink. She had a naturally dark complexion. Her crest was a set of three concentric circles. Her digivice was black with pink edging.
The boy who had had the purple aura looked over his clothes, crest, and digivice. He had on purple jeans that were extremely baggy. His t-shirt was loose on his small frame. A small chain clinked at his side. He didn't look very intelligent. His crest looked like a pair of the shades that are given out at the eye doctor, only flipped so the flat side was down. However, his crst had a circle cut out of each lens. The digivice he had was black with purple edging.
The boy who used to have the grey aura looked bored and unreliable. He had a small chain on both sides. His grey shorts were down to his knees. His almost shoulder length blond hair swung freely. His shirt was definitely wrinkled. His crest was an abstract shape. His digivice was black with grey edges.
The youngest boy was sad looking. An air of despair hung around him, despite his cheeful yellow clothes. He had had a yellow aura. His crest was a cloud with rain falling from it and his digivice was black with yellow edging.
The boy you used to have the orange aura adjusted his glasses. His shirt was vibrantly orange in color, as was his shorts. He wore black leather gloves on both hands. His crest was two crescent moons, one waxing and one waning, touching at the points. His digivice was black with orange edging.
Finally, the boy who had been the Master of Digimon look at his things. He wore a black leather jacket even though he had had a white aura. He wore a tight white tank top and black jeans. His crest was a spiral and his digivice was black with white edging.
"I suppose introductions are necessary," he said coolly. The others nodded.
The girl in red said, "I'm Oko."
The boy in orange said, "I'm Scott."
The girl in silver said, "I'm Kelerime."
The boy in purple said, "I'm Nik."
The girl in blue said, "I'm Anastasia, Kelerime's older sister." Kelerime scowled.
The girl in green said, "I'm Yuka."
The boy in somber grey said, "I'm Chris."
The girl in pink said, "I'm Zelda."
The boy in yellow said, "I'm Ross."
Then the former Master of Digimon spoke. "I'm Michael. I used to be the Master of Digimon, not that any of you know what that means. Welcome to the Digiworld."
Izzy was surprised to find an e-mail waiting for him. When he read the contents, he quickly contacted the others. "This is bad. This is very bad."
The Digidestined gathered quickly, knowing the urgency of Izzy's message. "So what's going on," Tai asked. "After all, we did beat the Master of Digimon."
"Apparently there's another evil force in the Digiworld. Another human force."
"What?"
"Let me read the message I got from them." Izzy pulled out a piece of paper. "Digidestined, we are the Dark Digidestined."
"Dark Digidestined," Jihan murmured. Vari shook her head, puzzled.
Izzy continued to read. "We are now the masters of the Digiworld. Any attempt to free it from our control will be immediately squashed."
Allison looked on in disbelief. "I say we take them down a notch." Sarran, Tai, Jihan, and Taki looked like they agreed with her.
Kari looked thoughtful. "Should we? We don't know how strong they are."
"We didn't know how strong the Master of Digimon would be either," Msaada said.
"I say we vote on it," Sora said. The others agreed.
"All who think we should go to the Digiworld raise your hand," Tai said. The majority of the Digidestined raised their hands. "I don't think we need to continue." He looked at each of the others. "So let's go back!"
Will the Digidestined be able to defeat the Dark Digidestined? How have the Dark Digidestined gained control of the Digiworld so quickly? Why were the ten who were chosen to be the Dark Digidestined chosen? And why are the new Digidestined who they are? Tune in next time to find out.
