Ayako is a well known girl at her school, being one of the most beautiful girls there, always with a timid smile on her face, and always sweet with whoever she meets. However, Ayako is far more that a little timid, she is terribly shy. She has a hard time getting to know people, or making new freinds, despite her freindly exterior. She's constantly holding herself back, and always feels overwhelmed. She also has dificulty opening up to people, even her long time friend, V-chan, who even has yet to see her best freind's true side to herself. Ayako is most of the time quite around others or public places, only opening up more with fimiliar freinds. Her low self-esteem will sometimes get in the way of battle, causing her to get hurt, or klutz out.

But Ayako has a side to herself that she hasnt let anyone see, or she struggles to hide. She has a fragil, frightened side. Ayako is not only shy, but is terrified of being hurt, emotionally. Not only is she afraid to get close to people and make freinds, but is terrified of love as well. She does her best to always avoid romance of any kind. Shrugging it off with her usual excuse of shyness getting in the way, and runs away from it. However, a young man named Bladen is slowly changing all that. Slowly, she finds it difficult to avoid him as she did in the begining, just as she would always do. She finds it hard to steer away from him, and ends up becoming scared of new emotions that slowly develope in her, which will sometimes even confuse her, not quite understanding what she feels.

Ayako is not just a timid, shy, fragile girl. She is strong, stronger then even she is aware of. She has a hidden temper inside her that she always keeps hidden, only every once in a blue moon will she ever show this side to herself, such as when her loved ones are when in danger, or when she is needed in battle. Ayako is also very determined, and doesnt know when to quit. And every once and a while, her tough side will show, when she is deep in thought, or her mind is completely focused.

Ayako is also one of the legendary Blessed. An ancient reign of people, who are blessed with gifts of magic, and power to protect life from evil. Ayako can transform into her Blessed form when ever she needs it. She has a tailisman, that looks like a necklace, with the appearance of an eye. In the begining, in stressful times, that would cause her heart to race at a rapid speed, a glowing form of the tailisman would appear on her belly. Later, she realizes that it's because the tailisman is more then what it seems, it's power is also a part of her, inside her. Ayako also, being one of the Blessed, has magical powers. Her main power, is the ability to control explosions. She can created marble like figures, and blast them at any distance, and can actually control how they move, where they go, how fast they move, and when they explode. She can also make them at any size, and the larger they are, the more powerful they are. She can also manipulate the 'marbles' into other uses, she can enlarge them to create a force field even. Or, she can create a slow, tiny exploding ball, and make a little ball of light, one of the few things she can do.

Ayako is also different from the other Blessed, one of the reasons is her great power. She is far more powerful then the others, it's unkown exactly how strong she is, not even Hope herself knows. Only in intense situations will this power begin to emerge, but she has to be careful, because such power can quickly grow out of control. There is also a darkness inside of Ayako, a darkness that Hope is aware of. Only Ayako can either overpower this darkness with her pure heart, or give in to it, leading to utter destruction. Ayako grows emotionally, slowly. She becomes more outgoing, and easy going around other people, and it's much easier for her to stand up for herself, often, this will leave others dumbfounded. But her love for her freinds, family, and. . . others, never change, and despite her slight distance from them in the begining, inside, she is very protective of everyone, especially them, and would do anything to protect them.
