JOINERS STUD

Just a little bit of history about the Stud, It was established in 1987 with a mare called Pentyrch Silver Spark she was in foal to Springbourne Legend. In 1988 she produced our first filly foal who was named Joiners Tia Maria. We started to show her as a 2 year old with great success, from that day on has always won in good company. Maria has won many medals and championships over the years, plus being placed at the Royal Welsh Show every time she has been shown there. The next mare we bought was Ceulan Perl (foaled 1986) she is also a prize winning mare, her Sire is the famous Twyford Sprig and Dam is Revel Philippa. Over the years she has produced tremendous foals for us. In my opinion the two Sired by Penual Mark are the best. The first was a colt born in 1996 called Joiners Kilkenny all through his young stock years he was never out of the prizes and on the three occasions he went to the Royal Welsh was placed 3rd as a foal, 4th as a yearling and 3 year old. Then came a filly in 1999, Joiners Apricot Brandy she has also been shown in the Royal Welsh from 69 entries she was placed 3rd, hopefully she will follow in her brothers footsteps.
