VS In-Home Dog Training
Does your dog rule your home? Does your four legged k-9 buddy take YOU on a walk each day? Cover you in mud? Eat your furniture? Use your carpet as his/her personal toilet? Or maybe, your doggie friend just needs some trainin. Whatever K-9 problems you may be having or level of training you desire your dog to achieve, VS in home training can help! I have been active in breeding, training and showing dogs since 1998. I have worked with many breeds of dogs, from tiny to very large and have worked with many "personalities". I am now offering quality in-home dog training to communities in Southern California.
I offer an alternative to having your companion leave home to be trained at a k-9 academy at a comparitive price and with the same quality of training. I train where you need your dog to listen, in your home enviroment. Problems can be solved on-site with problem soliving methods adjusted to the particular enviroment.
My training methods are humane and effective, I use a high amount of praise and a minimal amount of correction to get the job done and done right. The amount of correction used depends on the tempernment of your dog, dogs with a high desire to learn recieve minimal corrections.
I offer many training options and courses. For owners who wish to learn the proper method of training their own dogs, I offer individual lessons. Lesson prices depend on how many lessons you purchase, 1-5 lessons purchased: $50 per lesson. 6-10 lessons purchased: $40 per lesson.
For owners who do not have the time to consistently train their own dogs, we offer several levels of full training courses done entirely by me in your own home. Here is a brief description of the programs we offer:
VS Puppy Training Program. This program takes approximatly 5 weeks to complete and is for puppies 4mos-6mos. During the course of this program your puppy is taught to: heel(walk on a leash, by your side), sit, down, stay (on and off leash), automatic sit (everytime you stop while heeling, your puppy will sit), recall(come back when called). We will teach your puppy grooming manners, with quietly standing for brushing and nail trimming. We socialize the puppy 1-2x per week and cover the proper method of housebreaking. The cost of this course is $1050 and includes all training materials.
VS Basic Obediance Program-This program takes approximatly 4 weeks to complete and is for dogs over 6mos old. During the course of this program your dog is taught to heel (walk on a leash, by your side), sit, down, stay (5min on/off leash), heel with automatic sit(every time you stop while heeling, your dog will sit), recall(come back to you) with return to heel position. The cost of this course is $950 and includes all training materials.
VS Intermediate Obediance Program-This program takes approximatly 5-6weeks or 1-2weeks additional to dogs that have completed our Basic obediance program. It is for dogs who are over 8mos of age. Our Intermediate program covers the same things as our basic obediance program above all done under distraction, an extended stay under distraction, with commands partially done off leash. This program costs a net of $1250, or an additonal $300 for dogs who have completed our basic or puppy programs.
VS Advanced Obediance-This is a program that takes approximatly 7-8weeks and is for dogs 10mos or older. This program includes all the commands in our Basic Obediance program, all commands are done completely off leash. We also teach a down in motion (your dog will down on command while heeling, as you keep walking) and a sit in motion(your dog will sit on command while heeling, as you keep walking). This program includes a 10min stay, off leash. An additional $450 for dogs that have completed our intermediate program or an addiotional $750 for dogs who have completed our basic program, or a net of $1700 and all training supplies are included.
