| I'm not sure what it is exactly that makes Saionji appeal to me so much but i'll uh...go ahead and tell you a little more about his character. Saionji is, of course, the vice president of the student council elite and the captain of the Kendo Club at Ohtori Academy, Impressive huh? He's also the so-called "best friend" of Touga, The president of the student council. Saionji has a HUGE ego, he's conceited,arrogant and thinks that he is superior to everyone else (except touga) but that's not too bad, I think that's just another reason I like him. He's very proud and he walks with a certain aura around him. He's also determined. He's almost always in the Kendo room trying to better himself but the reason why may be his downfall. He is jealous of Touga more than anyone else in the world. He believes that everything he has done or has tried to do Touga has always been ahead of him every step of the way. Saionji deeply longs for something eternal, something he believes Touga possessed only to show it to someone else. He's abusive towards Anthy..but you cant blame him for that...we're talking about ANTHY here. And As much as I hate to admit it, I think somewhere deep down in his heart he really loves her, not just because she's the rose bride but because he has an enormous love and he just wants to be able to give it to someone, and he sees anthy as a great oppurtunity for that. Ok...Ok...so he may have some problems.....but who at Ohtori Academy doesnt?? Well, now let's focus on his good quaities...his looks. He's got the most gorgeous green hair of any other. His locks are exquisite whether they are down flowing in the wind or in a ponytail swinging from side to side while he's practicing with his sword. Lets face it...the guy is gorgeous. He has a regal walk, he carries himself very well because he knows that he looks good, and he expects everyone to swoon over him..(which they do)I cant think of much more to say but he's just one of the most beautiful and most pshycologically complex characters, and I think that is what makes him so interesting. |
