Hotaru is a frail, small girl who is considered "icky" by most of her classmates because of her strange ability to heal and protect herself. She lives in a mansion with her father, Professor Tomoe and her housekeeper, Kaori(who is actually the witch Kaolinite). Her best friend is Chibi-Usa.Saturn's story is actaully very long, and soon I will be making an exclusive page on it. However, here is a compressed summary.
Professor Tomoe was a kind man with a loving wife and a daughter. One day, he was working in his lab and accidentally blew it up, killing Hotaru and his wife. Mistress 9(who was without a body) appeared to him and said that she would bring back Hotaru if he would agree to let her be a vessel for Mistress 9 and also to create daimon eggs. He said yes, and became evil. He created daimon eggs and worked with the Witches Five to find the Holy Grail. Mistress 9 was awakened and her goal was to awaken Pharoah 90. However, she was destroyed, and Saturn was reborn. The outers raised her and she grew quickly to about 12 by the end of Stars. As a senshi, she is almost as powerful as Sailor Moon.
