Disclaimers: I don't own any of the G-boyz. And, to be honest, I don't hate Heero; he just seemed to fit as a cold, heartless prick in this particular story ^_^ Warnings: Angst, rape. Summary: Wufei and Duo are a couple... but Heero will do whatever it takes to keep them apart. ~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~ SHATTER By Ryoko Saotome Part One ~I may crack but I'll never shatter I may crack but it doesn't matter I may crack but I'll never shatter I may crack~ Meredith Brooks, "Shatter" Heero glared at the two boys seated on the couch as he strode through the room. It wouldn't be so bad if there was at least an inch of space in between them; but no, Duo was practically seated on Wufei's lap... and the Chinese boy wasn't putting up any resistance. he growled mentally, shooting the happy couple another glare and quickly averting his gaze when they began kissing. He stepped outside, slamming the door behind him. An idea came to him, and he smiled. It was definitely not a pleasant expression. ~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~^^~~^~~ The teen walked outside, breathing a sigh of relief. So far, everyone seemed to be accepting their new relationship. He didn't give his heart away easily, and was insanely happy that he'd actually found someone who wasn't ashamed of being seen in public with him. Sure, the sex in his last relationship had been great, but that was all there had been to it. No heart, no soul, nothing but the physical connection. With this one, though... a shy smile crossed his face as he turned his gaze skyward. His boyfriend--they weren't yet lovers--was warm and tender and openly affectionate, freely embracing or kissing him when the urge to do so hit him. His smile widened slightly as he wondered what it would be like when they made love for the first time.... Shaking himself momentarily out of that train of thought, he made his way to the woods behind the safe house. Even though he was *beyond* content with his new love, he still needed time alone every now and then. He wondered idly where Heero had been all evening--he hadn't seen the stoic youth since dinner. A chill ran up his spine, and he hugged himself as if trying to keep warm. Heero hadn't shown any outward signs of disapproval, but with the perfect soldier, one never knew what was going on in his head. Not even his ex-boyfriend-- No, ex-*lover*. They had never really had a relationship; he had just been a convenient fuck, a warm body nearby when he'd needed to relieve his physical desires. And, to be honest with himself, the boy had given himself willingly each and every time Heero so much as glanced at him with the lustful glimmer in his eyes. It wasn't until one of the others had asked him if he was truly happy did he begin to wonder where exactly he ranked on the Japanese teen's list of priorities. His answer came quickly, when Heero was taken from the OZ cell, leaving the future couple alone without a backward glance; his mind was already on the mission. In that instant his fragile heart had shattered, and he had dropped to his knees and sobbed brokenly, asking in a choked voice why everyone he cared about left him. The other boy had embraced him the best he could with his hands chained as they were and whispered, "*I* care, koi. And I'm not planning on going anywhere." That had been when their tentative relationship had truly begun. It wasn't until months later that he worked up the nerve to tell Heero that it was over, with his new love standing nearby to offer silent support--and to show Heero that he was making sure no one ever hurt the fragile boy's spirit again. Shaking himself out of such melancholy thoughts, he gazed up at the stars through the branches of the trees surrounding him. he thought, a slow smile working its way across his lips once more. A sound caught his attention and he whirled instantly, tensing himself to ward off an attack if need be. Catching sight of the other pilot, he relaxed... but not completely. "Heero," he said, dropping his arms to his sides but keeping his fists clenched. "You startled me." The cobalt-eyed teen blinked at him, his expression unchanged. "Gomen nasai," he replied, moving towards him and stopping only a few feet away. The slightly smaller pilot noted that fact with a feeling of unease; if Heero really wanted to, he could attack him and there would be nothing he could do to stop him... "Don't worry about it," he said, pushing that thought aside for the moment and trying to appear at ease. "Where have you been all evening, Heero? Quatre was getting worried." "Hn." The other teen sighed internally--same old emotional rock Heero Yuy. he groused, nearly snickering as he realized that thought could have applied to another not all that long ago-- "Why him?" The question caught him by surprise, and he looked up with wide questioning eyes. "Nani?" Heero's gaze was cold, seeming to chill him to the core. "Why him? You could have picked anyone to toss me aside for, and you had to choose *him*." The teen's eyes narrowed; he was starting to get pissed off. "That," he hissed between clenched teeth, "is my business. It is *my* business who I decide I want to be with, and it is *my* business why I chose to be with him!" "Are you fucking him?" "That is none of your goddamned business, Yuy!" Heero smirked at him. "You aren't, are you?" he said, taking a step forward even as his prey took one step backward. "You haven't gotten any since you walked away from me, have you?" Another step forward; the look he was giving the other boy now was a hungry one. "I can fix that right now. And then, you'll be mine again." The one overpowering thought in the other teen's head was short, sweet, and to the point: He whirled around and began to dash towards the safe house, hoping that he was just a little bit faster than his pursuer, hoping that he'd get away before-- Heero tackled him from behind, knocking the pair of them to the ground. He hit the ground hard, knocking the wind out of his lungs and blanking out for a few seconds. By the time he began to struggle, it was too late for him to escape. The Japanese teen began to tear at his clothes even as he tried to knock his hands away, already sobbing and pleading with Heero to stop despite the fact that he knew it was useless to argue with him; once Heero got something in his head, it was impossible to talk him out of it. So the boy did the only other thing he could think of--he screamed: "STOP IT! HELP ME! "*DUO*!" ~^~OWARI PART ONE~^~
