Tetsuo and his girlfriend were watching a meteor shower when the former decided that they should make a wish. His girlfriend suggested that they make the wish for someone else, since it'd be more likely for the wish to come true if it weren't a selfish one. And, with both in agreement, they made their wish.

    The next day, while Tetsuo's friend, Ryunosuke, was heading for the cafeteria, he had to pause when a slue of strange sensations assaulted his senses. When he recovered he couldn't believe what he could make out of his body, so he found an empty classroom so he could have the sort of privacy required for more in-depth inspections.

    He noticed a mirror at the back of the classroom, and he was shocked at what he saw reflected there: a girl!

    And he certainly felt like the real thing.

    It was about that time that the thing responsible for his transformation appeared. The thing was a flying midget with a horn on its head. It explained how it had heard a wish and had decided to grant it, and how his friend had wished for him to understand girls better.

    With no better recourse, Ryunosuke decided to understand girls so the terms of the wish would be met and he'd be able to return to his normal, male self. With the guarantee of the funny creature, that seemed like the best course of action.

    Since his friend, Tetsuo, was responsible for his predicament in the first place, he enlisted his help, as well as the help of his girlfriend and a few of her own friends. And all of that was made possible by the one-horned, flying midget, who made it easy to convince them of the situation.

    Between himself and the real girls, they explored various ways of helping him to understand how it was to be a girl. One such way, which was obvious to everyone, was the manner in which he dressed. And not just for casual occasions, but also for formal and specific occasions.

    Among other things, he also spent a lot of time learning how to cook, which was a popular skill for the girls in their culture to learn. It was one skill that he excelled at, and he liked to see the others enjoy his meals, so he learned to accept the skill and enjoy it himself.

    During all this he still had to contend with school work, and fitting in there as a girl. It was, perhaps, the worst part about the whole thing; aside from being a girl, of course.

    In time he broke down from both stress and conflicting thoughts, but he had his best friend there for him... even though he was a part of his conflicting thoughts. But he couldn't blame him since he was genuinely guilty about what had happened and had spent a lot of time helping any way that he could.

    After a while it seemed obvious enough to him that there was more at stake about understanding girls. He had been one for so long that it felt natural to be one, and all the acting and observation had instilled within him a more feminine nature in how he behaved. So if he became any more like a girl in nature... would he want to return to being the boy he had once been?

    He shared his thoughts with the funny little creature that had granted his friend's wish, and had gotten confirmation about what he had already established: that the terms of the wish wouldn't be met until he had gone as far into understanding girls as he had feared.

    In the end she decided to take the easy path. She didn't want to return to being a boy and end up making another long and hard transition; the transition into girlhood had been difficult enough, after all.

    So she had decided to remain a girl and follow the new feelings that had developed in her now-girlish heart. Even though his friend, Tetsuo, already had a girlfriend. But she figured that he was free game until marriage.
