-----Jessica was a wonderful person... At least Patricia thought so. And she didn't like seeing her best friend so sad over a breakup with some inconsiderate oaf of a boy. -----Her friend had been telling her about her dating experience with him while they walked around the seaside park. She probably responded unfairly in consideration for Desmond, her friend's date, but she cared too much about her friend to let just any ruffian have a chance at her. -----She knew that she shouldn't feel so attached to her friend, but she couldn't help it. They had been childhood friends, and grew up very close, but somewhere along the way she had realized that she really, really cared about her. -----It sounded silly, but she wished that she could be a man, so her friend would accept her as something more... She didn't want to risk losing how close they were by divulging her love to her. -----But when her friend looked up at the moon and wished that she could find that certain someone, she, quietly, wished that she could be that certain someone. -----And to the amazement of them both, she glowed softly, like the moon, and transformed into a male version of what she would have looked like if she had been born a male. -----Her friend didn't seem scared by what had happened; in fact, she blushed and looked up at her shyly. And, suddenly, the realization dawned on her (now him) that that could only mean one thing: she knew. -----She admitted to knowing about his love for her, but she never revealed anything because she only liked boys and didn't want to cause a rift between them. But now that he was a guy, she could admit that he was, with no doubt in her heart, the right guy for her. She had always wanted a guy that would treat her as well as he did, and knew that he would treat her right. -----It was then, with admiration in their eyes, that they drew closer and shared a tender kiss beneath the benevolent moonlight... |
