"Today was a great day!" I wrote down in my diary. "My class got to take a trip to the witch's academy and we got to see all sorts of cool magic. But the most amazing thing happened when we went to see the Pond of Truth. It was supposed to reveal a person's true nature, or their soul. When I looked at my reflection... I saw a girl! I didn't know how to react, or what to think."

    "But the witch at the pond seemed prepared for what I saw. I think she was there for someone like me... a possible witch! It seems that not everyone's souls match their bodies or something. Anyway, they took me to the head witch, and my parents had also come. They talked about me becoming a witch and stuff, and being turned into a girl for it, but all that I could think about was the magic. I wanted to do magic! I wanted to throw fireballs and fly over houses! I'm really loving my parents now because they let me be a witch. Now I get to live at the academy with the other witches so I can learn magic too! This is so cool! I can't wait! I'm going to do magic!"
