Neru's Crash- Fanfic- The Daimao Clan

The Daimao Clan

Prologue

Several long white capes swirled in the darkness of the night. They made snapping sounds as the wind slapped the cloaks against strong bodies. Starlight glittered in the evil eyes of a group of five Namekians and one covering human.
"You have done well," states the tallest of the band, "Now tell me, is there anything you want in return?"
"Oh, uh, no Sir," mumbled the human trembling under the peircing gaze.
"Allright," said the Namek forming an energy ball in his right hand, "then I'll send you on your way!"
He released the massive energy ball on the human. The Namek's aim was good and a huge explosion erupted on the desert plain. The Namek grinned showing long sharp white teeth.
"Poor fool...humans," mutters another Namekian finally speaking up.
"Oh, come now, Cymbol," says the first Namek,"it's not their fault their inferior. The least you can do for them is give them a quick death. Besides, we didn't come back to seek vengence on the human race."
The Namek walked over to the one called Cymbol and points at him bringing a long white nail dangerously close to the other's eyes.
"We're here to find my second-self," the Namek said,"and I know where we can find a source of information."
"So what are we waiting for? Let's go," Cymbol replies narrowing his eyes.
The leader of the group lowers his hand and jumps off the ground into flight. The other four follow and their capes disappear into the shadows.

Chapter One

Outside of Kame House, Pan and Marron are laying out in beach chairs enjoying the sun and sound of the surf.
"Ahh, it's nice to have a break from the city," says Pan.
"I bet," replies Marron, "That's why I'm staying in the shrine on the outskirts."
"But it's so hard to get out there to visit you," says Pan, "but anyway, let's just work on our tans."
"Are you thirsty Pan?" asks Marron getting up, "I'm going to go get some iced tea."
"Yes, please," replies Pan. After Marron leaves, Pan looks up at the clouds hanging peacefully in the blue sky. Pan is suddenly reminded of how much she misses her father. She feels a little tear roll down her face and wipes it away in time to keep Marron form seeing it.
"Here you go-" Marron begins handing a glass to Pan but stops in her movement and looks around. Pan stiffens as well sensing an approaching power.
"There's more than one don't you think Pan?" askes Marron anxiously wringing her hands.
"Yes, they are coming here, a large group, six maybe....five," Pan guesses trying to read the approachers power levels. Pan and Marron scan the horizon but see no one. For a long moment they stand this way listening.
"Oh, excuse me ladies," comes a deep voice from out of nowhere.
Pan and Marron turn to see five large Namekians standing and sitting casually on the roof of Master Roshi's home. Pan and Marron take a few steps back not recognising any of the green men.
"Might you know where I can find another like me?" the Namek standing at the center of the group asks.
"Who wants to know?" asks Pan turning up her nose at the visitors.
"I've asked you openly. There Is another Namekian on this planet and I wish to know where he is," replies the Namek.
"What's all the fuss about?" asks Master Roshi as he walks down the porch steps to where Pan and Marron are standing. He follows their gaze and catches sight of the troop of Nameks perched upon his house.
"Oh!" exclaims Roshi in suprise and terror.
The tallest Namek's eyes light up red and narrow dangerously. He jumps off the roof and catches the old man by his shirt in one swift movement.
"I remember you old man," he hisses through clenched teeth,"and I know you remember me..."
The Namek raises Roshi close to his sharp-featured face.
"Wha, whataya want? Goku...Goku's dead..." mutters Roshi fearfully.
"I know he is...now I wasn't going to hurt you, not seriously at least, but you seem to think me a fool," the Namek spits in scorn, "I beat both you and Goku once, and I have my youth back now and a new team of fighters as you can see so I can beat you double! Why would I waste my time on a weakling?"
"Hey! You leave him alone! I don't know who you are of what you want, but you don't belong here!" yells Marron.
The Namek drops Roshi to the ground and Roshi wriggles away from the towering green man cringing in his shadow.
"Very well, lady, I'll leave if you tell me where the one I seek is," the Namek asks staring at Marron intently.
"Who?" asks Pan.
"Piccolo!" yells the Namek begining to loose his temper,"the only other who bears my name and my blood!"
"Piccolo?...What do you want with him? If your here to try to hurt him than you need to leave, because he doesn't take kindly to strangers," Pan utters smartly gesturing Marron and Roshi to stand behind her.
"Ahh, hahahha, I'm no stranger to him., in fact, you could say he knows me better than I know myself," the Namek laughs. The group on the roof also crack grins as if they know something the rest do not.
"Besides," the Namek continues,"you wouldn't want to tear apart a family now would you?"
"As far as I know Nail and Dende are the only ones that Piccolo considers family, and I don't think you are the kind of aquantiance he would wanna have anyway!" yells Pan.
"Hahah, you act as if you know me, when in fact you have never before seen my face," the Nameks says.
"No, but I do know Piccolo took care of my father and anyone who wants to harm him is no friend of mine," Pan says in warning.
The Namek is silent for awhile. He closes his slender eyes and raises his eyeriffs as if considering something. He reopens his eyes and one of the Namek's on the roof rises. The first Namek looks to the other as if trading messages telepathically. The Namek looks back at Pan with a grin his cold eyes burning into the three Earthlings.
"Forget it, we've already found him," the Namek says rising in the air and blasting off followed quickly by his team of fighters. Then he turns around.
"Oh, pardon me, I totally forgot to say goodbye," he says. His eyes flash red and the roof of Roshi's house where the Nameks had just stood catches on fire as eye-lasers sear through it. Pan, Marron, and Roshi glance at the floor but Pan and Marron turn back to the Namek.
He waves to them mockingly, "See you ladies." The Namek and his group disappears into the sky.
"Pan, help me put out this fire!" calls Marron. Marron and Pan use their energy blasts to snuff out the fire, but not before it has already consumed half the house. The once bright pink walls of the Kame House now read "ame ous". Master Roshi's tortoise groans and hides his head under his flippers.
"That guy's all trouble," mumbles Roshi.
"You know him?" asks Marron hurridly.
"Yes," replies Roshi, "he was before your time though...even before your father's time Pan."
"Please, we need to know! Who is it?" asks Pan.
"Well, you both know Goku and Piccolo were young, they weren't the best of friends, and that guy is the reason why," Roshi says.
"It all started along time ago, when Goku was a mere child. This guy Piccolo-Daimao and his followers Cymbol, Tamborine, Drum and Piano were all giving Kami trouble," Master Roshi explains. "This guy was jealous about Kami's being the guardian of the Earth. Goku was defeated by him in the first fight, but once he and his team took out Krillin and I, he fought him again and won. But as Daimo was dying he spat up an egg which he cursed to follow in his footsteps and to be a sort of reincarnation of himself. That egg hatched and grew in time to be the Piccolo you all are familiar with."
"So that's what he meant by 'my name and my blood'," says Marron.
"Yes, but unlike Piccolo his father is nothing but trouble, and if my guess is correct, he's here not for Goku or I but for Piccolo. He is angry Piccolo has beaten out his curse and turned to good, and if he still wishes to take over Earth, he won't need a alter-self anymore. In fact, keeping Piccolo alive would be a dangerous move for Daimao," says Roshi.
"Man," says Pan, "that's awful. I wish we did know where Piccolo is, because then we could warn him."
"Here, I know. Pan, you go to Dende's lookout. He'll need to know about this if he doesn't already, and I'll go find Nail, he's bound to know where Piccolo is," Marron says firmly taking control of the situation.
"Allright, but be careful Marron, that guy wasn't alone, he has a whole Namekian army with him," Pan says lifting her geet off the ground and turning in the direction of Dende's lookout platform.
"You too," Marron replies heading in the opposite direction attempting to sense Nail's power level.
"Hey girls! Wait for me! Hey!" yells Roshi as the two girls fly away. He sighs in exhasperation.
"And I just painted it too," he grumbles looking at his wrecked hut.
