The Hitler Youth was an organization used to maintain Hitler's idea of a perfect race. It was a time for young men and women to dedicate themselves to the future of the Nazi party. 10 to 18 year old were encouraged to join the Hitler Youth. The group was further seperated into groups by sex. Boys trained for future roles in the military while girls learned skills needed for motherhood.

::Boys Role::

+Joined the German Young People from the ages 10-13 +At 13 joined the Hitler Youth until the age of 18 +Participated in activities that included marching, bayoneting, grenade throwing, and trench digging

::Girls Role::

+Joined the League of Young Girls from the ages of 10-13 +At 14 transferred to the League of German Girls +Participated in running, throwing, marching, swimming, and bed making activities
