Macross Plus is a futuristic Sci-Fi anime based on the ever so popular Macross: Do You Remember Love, which started in 1985 in Japan. Eventually the movie Macross Plus came out in early 1994, in four episodes on four VHS tapes, but was aired many times on television ever since.

Set in the year 2040 AD, it focuses on the first planet conquered by mankind, Eden. Isamu Dyson, is transferred to Eden to be a test pilot. The story expands when Dyson meets up with an old rival for the competing project. Eventually in the story, they both run into Myung, who is an past lover a long time ago. Eventually the story starts focusing on Sharon Apple, a cybernetic singer, possibly the most popular singer. After Sharon Apple takes control of the Macross systems to control the flying fortress Isamu and Myung must try to defeat Sharon before she takes there lives. Macross Plus is a great movie. Sharon Apple's songs are great. I own all 3 of the soundtrack's and still listen to them. The animation is top-notch, and looks better then 95%+ of other animated films. Dyson, Isamu, and Guld must try to overcome there past and defeat Sharon.
