Grey Cat Linux 3.0 is a small linux distribution (about 12mb to download) that installs onto a FAT16/32 partition in c:\linux and uses UMSDOS. GCL is great for older computer systems such as 486 and Pentium 1 machines. It can run with a small amount of ram such as 8 MB. Distro includes XFree86, IceWM, Links (console browser), Netscape (X-Window browser), XV & more. Installing: For install directions, please refer to INSTALL.TXT (Included in gcl_inst.zip) Uninstalling: If you decide GCL isn't right for you, boot into DOS and from C:\> type in: deltree -y c:\linux Then press Enter. This will delete all the files and directories within c:\linux as well as delete c:\linux itself.
