Akio Ohtori, the Dean of Ohtori Gakuen was the only one ever to succeed at making Utena fall in love with him...

My Opinion
Prince Dios had once came to Utena when he was a young boy. He had hoped her the best, and encouraged her to live on. He had succeded in helping Utena, but had left her with a different plan...... to become a prince. All through the many duels Dios had helped Utena fight and his soul would descend upon her and give her the strength to live on. Utena had succeeded in all her duels, until one man came along. His name was Akio Ohtori, the acting Dean of the Students and the Trustee Chairman of the Ohtori Academy. When he first invited Utena to come and live with Anthy and him in his mansion, Utena was completely delighted. Akio is also one of the MAJOR attractions of the show besides Touga. Anyways, what would a show be without a sexy bad guy ^.-? Anyways, Akio became lover of Utena, (yibbie!) and fell in love after Utena having a little boo boo for playing her basketball. He took her, then took care of her, and then.....(hehe, won't spoil it fur you!) A few nights later, the boy and girlfriend became lovers. Utena had lost it, and Akio, well.......(whatever)

Akio and Anthy does not seem to have any kind of parents, ( I really do not get how they could be born out of nowhere....)nor do they seem to have any kind of birthdate. They are both Indians most likely because of the familiar little castmark on their head. Both of them are immortal and powerful in a godly kind of way. The sad fact is.... Akio is perverted( don't hate me Akio lovers! I don't really think that but yet... sadly it's true. Akio had succeeded in seducing our heroine and making her believe in him. He is sexily clever in many ways.... but that is how he ends up destroying her. In my opinion, I think Akio does love Utena because he once was Dios. He tries to love her.... but he can't love her in the same sense that Dios did because... well....he is just not Dios. Somehow I pity him because of his unfortunate situation and that he could never be with Utena .....

Meeting
The first time Utena had seen Akio was when she had moved in with Anthy. Akio had always seemed to be focused a lot on the stars, for he must have great love of astronomy. His conceitedness is what makes him weaker than what he could have been. He probably did not know how much Utena had loved him, for if he really saw her heart opened up completely to him, he might feel something new, and he might not feel the same way toward her as he does toward any girl. Truly I think that he is very confused even about his own feelings that he can't feel any toward Utena.

Once Akio was a young boy, pure in heart and soul. This young and spirited lad set out to become Dios, the bringer of the Revolution of world salvation. Unexpectedly, he started learning the power of the Ends of the World, a little too much. Soon he started controlling that power, controlling people, then controlling himself. The boy who would've have became Dios set out now to be the bringer of pain, strife, and an eternity of torture.

Afterwards....
Later, he seduces the daughter of the former trustee chairman Kanae into becoming engaged to him. He finds her very repulsive because the only reason he wanted this was so he could rule this Academy with his power. He takes very much advantage of his sister Anthy so he could harness the power of the Revolution, and tricks her into believing that she was the only one he loved. He completely destroys Saionji after ruining his faith once, then twice, yet again. Mikage, the genius of the academy, had been a figment of Akio's inmagination the whole time and had been his slavelike puppet, and was soon to be thrown back into his nonexistent world. And lastly, he seduces our poor, vulnerable and young Utena..........

Why Utena?
Utena had been the perfect victim for Akio always because of how naive and trusting she was. She was the catalyst to the Revolution, and Akio had planned to use her to get to the Rose Doors and try to bring the Revolution. In another sense, they became lovers, and that's where the whole mess starts. Akio slowly seduces Utena so much into a point where she just totally loses reality and starts falling to deep into the trap. And when that happens, Akio all together weighs reality heavily upon by telling her the truth. He tells her that she is still in the coffin, the coffin of a make believe life. And becuase she has believed in such a fake memory, her being a prince is just an illusionary dream, and the castle is also just an illusion, and so is she...........

The duel of Revolution is very harsh and intense. Akio fights hard with Utena and spares no mercy on the girl so much more smaller than him. He soon almost wins her, until she finds the guts to stand up against him and yield him. after that, the projector( which is the main source to all of his powers) in his planenarium goes berserk and the illusionary castle starts falling apart and becomes totally destroyed. Utena dodges toward Akio, but in fear and anger, Akio pushes Anthy desperatly in front of him to protect himself. After that, there is a tear, a kiss, then.....

(I won't spoil it for u, but all I can say is that this scene is heartbreaking......)
