Past

Born in Colony 7 after the year of Colony 6, Selece and her mother and father lived there few well spent year together. She was a quiet, peacefully child who rarely spoke unless spoken to, and was raised to take life as it was given, but repay it in two-fold.

When she was 10, her parents were killed in an all-out war against the colonies by OZ. Left defenseless and alone without any brothers and sisters to defend and provide for her, she boarded a space ship to Earth, leaving her home behind her as well as the past.

There she had a rather hard life, trying to get along as best as she could. She had many jobs throughout her time there, such as an actress, waitress and part-time lifeguard at a near-by beach. During her time as an actress, she ran into a soon to be very close friend of hers while getting out of work at the Mariot Theatrical Inc.

"Oh shoot, I’m sorry sir, I didn’t mean to bump into you like that.”

Nervous hands reached down to retrieve the floppy disk that the teen had dropped. As her hands met his hands, she recoiled as if the touch was a shock to her system; as if she had faltered again in her life and received a punishment. She watched his hand as he drew it up and placed the disk into his dark jacket pocket. She then proceeded to look up into his face, hoping not to find him mad. Surprised, yet scared, she found a puzzled look etched upon his fair features as if he wasn’t sure what to think of her.

She faltered in her unspoken words, and slowly but carefully backed up towards the door that she had just exited in her rush. Waving her hand in apology, she backed up until she reached with her other hand the cold pavement wall next to her relief passage. She looked up again at his face, to see him thinking of something to say again.

"I’m sorry, I......it’s just been a rough day overall...and well..”

"That’s O.K.”

She blinked to see his soft features relax, as if his own words were a relief to him. At that moment she realized that he just might be the person that she had waited so long for, so that she could openly confess everything in her before it was too late and she lost it all. She needed him, and she knew.

"My name is Trowa Barton. Are you from around here?”

His own dark green curious eyes stared deep into her black liquid pools.

Mine is Selece. Selece Kiyomi. No, actually I came here not long ago, say about 4 years ago. I was a refuge on a space ship from Colony7. My parent we-....”

She stopped, rethinking if he would really give a crap about what she had to say and all her pain. She so reverently carried a look of hopefulness on her face that he fell into it and felt that she needed something from him, at least someone to talk to.

"I’m sorry to hear that. Hey, since we don’t live far from each other, maybe you would wanna talk sometime. Y’kno we could like go somewhere, whenever. Just give me a buzz.”

After that he gave her a faint smile and a brief salute: a wave of his hand from his head in her direction so thoughtfully. Then he walked on down that street, with her staring after him so glad, just ever so glad that she had someone to talk to. Unable to tear her gaze away from his distant figure, his brown hair and his pale, slim pants, she thanked the God of Help for at least answering her prayer.

After much consideration and doubt of his words, she contacted him again, previous to their first meeting on the street. He came by her work and they went walking to a nearby park. On the way, complex sentences and emotions poured out of her and to him as if she had known him for a lifetime. He listened intently to every word she uttered, and could see clearly that they had been real fortunate to find each other.

"I can’t believe that my prayer had been answered. You know, I was waiting for someone to talk to to just come along so that I could let all this out. I’m having such a terrible time here on Earth with these thoughts and pain that I’m bearing.

Since I saw my parents massacred before my very eyes back on Colony7, I haven’t been able to break my thoughts free of these revengeful ideas that I get. I feel as though someone has to be repaid for all the bloodshed that they have caused, not only my true family, but everyone who has lost someone. The only problem is that I don’t know who to punish. I have an urge to fight. And...I don’t know. It’s just like my brain is one big mess...”

The whole time she had been relating all this to Trowa she had kept on running her fingers through her hair and looking shyly at him once more, as if she was uncertain of something in her actions. He nodded understanding, for he too had no family and longed for someone to relate to. And now he found her.

From that point, she and Trowa had become like the best of friends. Although he never did too much talking and let her carry on with everything (of which she was more than willing to do), they were almost completely inseparable of each others hearts and minds. After all, sometimes respect and silence is the best company.

Once she finally revealed her Gundam, to him and explained how she was given it and these missions by a strange scientist, he was amazed that she too was a Gundam pilot. He entrusted her with his exact Gundam mission. So far, they were the only two Gundam’s who had found each other.

During that time span after getting closely aquatinted, they were transferring from job to job, gathering as much information as they could on OZ and Romafeller. Hacking into computers being her specialty, she would do the dirty work while Trowa was off recording it and finding the next area to investigate. When sudden outburst would occur with mobile dolls against the colonies, Gundams would sure be there. And soon enough....

Later on within a year, the rest of the Gundam pilots: Wufei, Heero, Duo, and Quatre all found Selece and Trowa. Since they knew what they had to do with the Romafeller Foundation, OZ and the Colonies all waging a war, they had been planned their multiple attacks.
