Chobits? What's that?

The name of the manga is Chobits. It's currently running in Weekly Young Magazine. One day as Hideki was coming home from work, he saw a body in a dumpster. Scared that it would be a dead body, he went over and found that it was a persocon. A persocon is a android-like creature that almost everybody has. Well, Hideki takes it home but the data that was with the persocon fell out.

Once he got home, he tried to find the switch that would turn the cute little persocon on. After searching a bit, he finally found it and it started up. It was a girl-type persocon with long hair and cute little ears. She opened her eyes and her first word was ''chi''. It was the ONLY word she could say, and so, Hideki named her Chii. And from there, the odd relationship between the two developes. But where did Chii come from? What is she?

**smiles** And that's how the story begins... if you want to read some translations of the manga, I suggest you check out Sekai Seifuku((Means: World Conquest))!!! Kristin-san did such a wonderful job in translating! I'm so happy to see a translation of the manga. It would of took me forever to translate because I can't speak Japanese fluently. I can read katakana and hiragana... but not kanji as well. Her translations are very accurate and VERY good... better then a lot of translations out there. Nothing is censored, so check it out to learn more about each character!

And on other things... Tokyo Pop has brought Chobits to America. They did an alrighty job, you can pick it up at your local comic store. Hopefully! ^.^
