All was quiet. The Digidestined had made camp and settled down for the night, except once again for Matt. He sat up in his sleeping bag just staring at Tai...his love. Matt cracked a beautiful grin as he thought of how lucky he was to have him. Then from the other side of the dying campfire, Matt heard a faint moan. He looked over to where he heard the noise. It was TK. "Matt?...are you still awake?" he asked rubbing the sleep from his big blue eyes. "TK! It doesn't matter if I'm still awake, you need to be sleeping right now!" Matt tried to coax TK into going to bed, yet to no avail, TK only drew closer to Matt. "Uh...I kinda wanted to talk to you, Matt. If that's OK." TK looked at Matt with the cutest puppy face you could ever think possible, that Matt just gave up. "All right!" Matt said. He patted his knee as a signal for TK to come and sit on his lap. TK bounced over happily and plopped right in the middle of Matt's crossed legs like a bean bag chair.
TK threw his arms around Matt's shoulders and with a big grin, nuzzled his head up against Matt's chest, "Thanks Matt!" TK said cutely "Anytime little bro!" Matt replied solemnly. "So, what's on your mind?" asked Matt, "Well, I was kinda wondering...why are you in love with Tai?" At that, Matt was drawn slightly aback by this sudden outburst of curiosity in his little brother. "Well...uh...you see...Tai and I..." Matt was at a loss for words. He couldn't possibly find the right words to explain such a matter to someone so young as little TK. And yet, even though Matt couldn't give a verbal explanation, TK seemed to understand perfectly. "I think I know why!" he said, "I think it's because Tai's such a great guy!" TK said with a smile. Matt smiled too, "Yeah! I guess that's accurate." Matt replied with a sigh of relief. "See, Mom always told me girls were supposed to fall in love with guys. But when I saw you and Tai sleeping near the edge of that cliff, something just told me that it doesn't matter if two boys fall in love. It's like what Kari's been saying, "It doesn't matter who you're in love with. It only matters that you love them' So, I guess it's right. Even if Mom says it's wrong." Matt was flabbergasted. TK actually knew what he was talking about. It wasn't some childish yammering that you need to correct when the child finishes, it was a the complete and utter truth that seemed to pour from TK's mouth. Matt smiled. He was so smart for someone so small. It was like that time he out-smarted Puppetmon. Suddenly, TK abruptly took Matt into a tight embrace. Matt, though a bit surprised, lovingly wrapped his arms around his little brother in a moment of such serenity that it almost brought tears to his eyes. "I love you, Matt, my brother!" TK said in a soft voice, "I love you too, TK!" Matt replied. Never before had Matt ever felt so close to TK. He turned his head a laid a light kiss on his brother's cheek.
Suddenly, TK turned his head and laid a rather hard kiss on Matt's lips. It was a near five seconds before TK relinquished the lip lock with his older brother. And when he did, Matt was in a bit of shock. His eyes were wide and his jaw hung open slightly.
"W...What was that for?" He asked, "I wanted to see what a kiss feels like." TK said innocently. Then, all Matt's surprise and shock seemed to disappear. "How does it feel?" he asked inquisitively, "Hehe! I kinda liked it!" TK replied in a delighted tone. "I'm glad!" Matt said as he attempted to hug TK, but he was cut off as TK once again laid another long kiss on Matt's lips. This time, the kiss lasted a whopping thirty seconds before TK slowly pulled back. Matt's heart pounded and his palms were sweaty as TK showed his affection in this peculiar fashion. "That time it was for you!" TK said with eyes half closed and a soft smile on his face. "Thanks!" Matt said in a slight chuckle. "And...I guess it's my turn to give you something." Matt said. TK smiled in a way Matt had never seen. They closed their eyes and inch by inch their lips came closer to one another. Their mouths weren't even half a centimeter apart when TK opened his mouth. Matt did the same, and as their lips finally met, TK slid his tongue into Matt's mouth. Matt, a little shaky, retaliated sending in his own tongue to dance with TK's. It was another thirty seconds before the incestuous yet wonderful kiss came to part. TK giggled as he hugged Matt another time. "Thank you, Matt!" TK said softly, "Thanks for what?" Matt asked, "For loving me enough to do that with me!" TK replied in a loving tone. Matt smiled and just stayed entrapped in his brother's embrace. "TK, are you sure you understand what you just did?" Matt asked with a hint of concern in his voice, "I'm sure. I've never been so sure of anything in my otherwise short time on this earth. And even though we're in the digital world, I still feel a bit of home wherever I go." TK sounded really sure of himself. Matt let go of his concern. He'd call it a fling. A one night stand. But deep in his heart, he would always remember the time was kissed so passionately by his blood kin.
"Ya know, Matt...You and Tai are the best friends in the world, and now that you two love each other, I guess it's safe to say I'm willing to share." TK said happily, Matt chuckled and leaned backward resting up against a log. He held TK in his arms as he and Matt both drifted off to sleep. Brothers.........go figure!
