HEY THERE, COBRA LOYALISTS and welcome to the cosplay page of my CC site :).
FINALLY, A PAGE ABOUT HOW I MADE MY COBRA COMMANDER COSTUME!!!
My Cobra Commander costume (with me in it. lol) was featured in my country's newspaper today (October 14, 2003)!!! Check out the article (and some pictures) of the Anime on Ice 2003 event where I came as CC!
The new and improved CC costume me and my mom modified for Anime Quest 2003 ^_^! Wahoo!!! i got into the finals in this one!
anyway, here i am as the one and only Cobra Commander Movie Version. yah yah i know i really don't recognize the movie as a part of the GI Joe cartoon timeline, but his movie outfit was so cheezy, that i just had to cosplay it! heheh...too bad i didn't have the scepter with me ;P.
I used this costume for the WeAreAnime cosplay party and ended up as one of the finalists and had a tie score with Robert Wong who cosplayed as a Robotech mech O.o!!!
Anyway, i was the one who made the helmet, face plate ^_^, white box (which is actually a voice amplifier that works), and also the belt. My mom made the pouches. The logo is custome made :).
