Chapter Two


"Shoot, we were so close, but the stronger one decided to blow me up," Jedi said.
"Yes, but now Vegeta is weak and will be much easier to get him," Snake said.
"Right, but will the stronger one get away from Vegeta?" Jedi Said.
"He's not, so we might have to think of something else or wait until he is better," Dais said.
"How would you know that this is what the stronger one will do?" Jedi asks.
"Well, I followed the stronger one into the hospital and he told the group that he will not leave until Vegeta is better," Dais said making Jedi very angry.
"So then we are going to have to start all over. It's going to be much harder to get him if he is all better. He knows who I am and is probably going to avoid me as much as possible. We have to do it now before it's too late," Jedi said.
At the hospital Vegeta starts to wake up.

"Welcome back Vegeta," Goku replies.
" Where am I Kakkarot?" Vegeta mumbles weakly.
"You're at the hospital. You have been asleep for hours," Goku says.
"Where's Bulma? Is she here?" Vegeta asks. (They didn't know that Vegeta was worried because of the mysterious man. He thought that he might try to hurt his family to get to him to join them.)
"Bulma is right over there with Trunks sleeping. If you want me to I can wake them up," Goku replies.
Trunks hears them and jumps off the bed and ran right up to Vegeta's bed.
"Daddy your up," Trunks said jumping up and down.
Goku held Trunks, calming him down, "How are you feeling dad?" Trunks asks while taking a deep breath.
"Not so good Trunks," Vegeta said falling back to sleep.
"I think your dad needs some more sleep he had a rough night," Goku said.
Trunks sighed and sat down right next to Vegeta.
"Jedi, I found away to get the stronger one away from Vegeta," Dais replies.
"How so?" Jedi asks.
"Well, the stronger one also named Goku. He has a wife and two kids. If Snake takes them hostage, Goku will have to come and get them," Dais said.
"Really good work Dais. Snake, you heard him! Now get ready, we leave at sun down," Jedi said laughing aloud.
The others followed.
"Goku, how is Vegeta?" Bulma asks.
"Well, he spoke to us, but only for a little while," Goku said turning towards Vegeta who started to wake up again.
"Vegeta... oh honey how are you?" Bulma said, happy to see him up.
"I'm fine woman," Vegeta said as ge woke up and he was cranky.
"Oh, so that's the thanks I get for worrying about you is it?" Bulma yelled. "Well, Vegeta should be capable of leaving. He is a fast healer," Said the Doctor.
"Great I need to get back to my training AH!" Vegeta said holding his neck.
"Oh my his wound hasn't yet healed so maybe I should take a look," The Doctor said.
"No way, you are not going to lay a hand on me," Vegeta says while holding his wound.
"Please daddy I want you to come home," Trunks said hugging him. Vegeta pushes him off.
"I can care little of what you want brat," Vegeta said.
"Vegeta, your son loves you and you have the nerve to push him. You will let the doctor look at the wound or I will break the gravity machine," Bulma said.
Vegeta lets go of his wound and the doctor was taking off the bandage.
"Oh my this is deeper than I thought I'm going to have to stitch it closed," The doctor said taking out a needle.
"AHHHH a needle! Oh no you are not going to...," Goku said his mouth being cover by Bulma's hand and the doctor gave the needle to Vegeta who soon fell asleep.
"The sun is almost set. Does everyone remember what to do?" Jedi asks.
"Yes," Emerald, Dais, and Snake all said at once.
After the surgery was done Goku was told that there was a call for him.
"Hello," Goku said.
"Hi, I hope you remember me," Snake said.
"No," Goku said confused, keeping a close eye on Vegeta.
"Well, maybe you would remember me if I say this. PARALIZE STING," Snake said.
"Yes, I remember that," Goku said watching Vegeta even closer.
"Goku who's on the phone?" Bulma said worried. She rarely sees Goku so focused.
"The guy who shot those needles at Vegeta," Goku said.
"Hello? Are you still there to hear what I have to tell you," Snake said.
"Yeah I'm still here. So what is it that you want to tell me Mister?"
"I have a name and it is Snake. What I wanted to tell you is that I have your family. They are very scared. Do you want to talk to one of them?" Snake asks.
"Yea put one on," Goku said powering up.
"Okay, here's one now," Snake said giving the phone to Goten, "Speak brat."
"Daddy?" Goten whimpers.
"GOTEN!" Goku said.
"Daddy come over I'm scared," Goten says.
"Goten, fight back," Goku said. Goku wasn't sure he should leave Vegeta alone.
"We can't, they got mommy," Goten said.
"What!?" Goku yells.
"Hey, what's up with Goten is he okay?" Trunks asks. "Goten how about I send..." Goku said interrupted by Goten speaking.
"No, Snake wants you or he will kill Mommy!"
"Oh okay, hold on I will be right over," Goku said hanging up the phone.
"Trunks."
"Yea," Trunks said.
"Stay here and watch Vegeta very carefully I have to help my family," Goku said powering up to Super Sayjin. He teleports to his house, "All right Snake where are you?"
"I'm over here. What took you so long? I was getting hungry," Snake said tossing down Gohan who was barely alive.
"GOHAN!" Goku said powering up to Super Sayjin two.
"Oh don't worry he won't die. He is just in shock from loosing all that blood," Snake said holding Goten by the neck.
At the hospital
"Trunks," Vegeta said with worried eyes.
"What. Aw," Trunks said just getting hit over the head and then Bulma.
"Well hello Vegeta how are you," Jedi said.
"Ah, you again. This time I won't be caught by surprise so it won't be so easy," Vegeta said picking up Trunks and Bulma. He jumps out the window.
"Hmm," Jedi replies.
Back at the Son's house
"You fool, your fight with me is pointless. My Boss has gotten Vegeta," Snake said and left the fight.
"Oh no, Vegeta," Goku said. Without another word he picked up Chi-Chi, Gohan, and Goten and went back to the hospital.
"Vegeta, Bulma, Trunks!? Where are you?" Goku set his family on the bed and looked around for them.
"Vegeta left. To bad it almost worked he reacted to fast," Jedi said as he hopped down from the ceiling in front of Goku's face.
"You, I thought I killed you," Goku said.
"You thought, but what you don't know is that I can rebuild myself as long as my body is still there even if it is in dust," Jedi said shocking Goku.
" What do you want with Vegeta?" Goku asks angrily.
"It is a surprise... Hmm. What happened to the kids?" Jedi said laughing.
"Snake. You know him?" Goku said moving closer to his family.
"Yes, Snake is one of my followers, but he wasn't suppose to hurt them.. just to get you out of my way," Jedi says. "Oh well, if Vegeta won't join us, then Gohan will be my next target."
Without another word Jedi jumps up and flies out the window.
"Gohan, no... Vegeta!" Goku yells.
Vegeta came back through the window. He was badly hurt with Bulma and Trunks in his arms.
"Kakkarot, they want me and they will not stop until I'm one of them," Vegeta replies.
