It had taken a few days to get to Tranzal due to being held back by a large astriod belt that surrounded the planet. Vegeta had forgotten about the astroids...which made him angry at himself.
Goku pulls a cloak on and slings his staff in its holster across his back and proceeds to slip on a capsule corp hat backwards to hide his hair. (He brought the hat from Earth...duh) He pulls a piece of his bang out of the hole of the hat and smiles. He then takes a pair of desert sand goggles and places them on his hat just in case. Vegeta had told him that the planet they were on had many deserts and so he had gathered clothing from a nearby town earlier upon landing and returned, telling Goku to put them on. Goku had agreed and he looks at himself in the mirror. Well, no one will recognize me dressed this way, but Vegeta told me that this was the best thing to do. He said he didn't want any of the aliens recognizing us as saiyans or there may be panic. I suppose they fear saiyans because of the power they know that we possess. Hmm, oh well. Hopefully, there won't be any trouble. Goku turns to find Vegeta looking rather odd. He smiles, "Wow, you look different."
Vegeta frowns. "Shut up baka."
Vegeta's hair is pulled back into a small, tight pony tail and sand goggles placed on his head, with a cloak similar to what Goku was wearing. Under the cloak Vegeta is wearing black baggy pants, blue muscle shirt, white gloves, and regular white boots.
(Narrator: Vegeta isn't about to wear his good pair of gold tipped boots. Hell no. Oh yeah, his tail is wrapped around his waist...just lettin' you guys know that. Oh, and if you want a better description of what their wearing then go to fan art and check out the pick I drew).
Vegeta turns away from Goku. "Come on, we don't have anymore time to lose, We need supplies and I want to know where the hell this SahlKahn shit head lives."
Goku nods and follows Vegeta. "Do you think the pod will be alright here?"
Vegeta nods. "I know this planet, they don't mind visitors... they just don't like saiya-jins that much."
Goku follows Vegeta as they began to walk to the town. The one thing that Goku didn't like about this planet was that he couldn't fly around because people would panic. They must have very low ki levels here...maybe that's why.
Vegeta clenches his fists. He was bound to find where SahlKahn lived, he knew somebody had to have information. Back when Freiza was still alive, SahlKahn was the second strongest being in the universe next to him. Now that Freiza is dead, SahlKahn is the successor. He hated the bastard and would never forgive him for what he did to Bulma. Vegeta knew Kakarotto was just as angry at SahlKahn, but he just didn't show.
Goku looks up at the bluish orange atomosphere and sighs. Wherever you are Bulma, we'r gonna find you. I promise.
~~~~~Meanwhile, on SahlKahn's ship, light years further from Planet Tranzal~~~~~
Bulma mechanically brushes her hair as she stared blankly into the mirror. Without the warmth of Vegeta and the company of her friends, Bulma was beginning to develope cabin fever. She hadn't seen Zelna for a few days. Different severants came to serve her, but Bulma paid them no mind. They weren't as trustworthy as Zelna. Bulma sighs, resting the brush on the glass table and sitting there for a while as she felt her baby moving from within her womb. I want to leave this planet before I give birth in 6 1/2 weeks. I don't want him hurting my son....my little prince. Please Vegeta, hurry... Bulma looks up, sensing a familar ki coming to her door.
Zelna peeks in and finds Bulma looking straight at her with a smile. "Konichi wa Bulma. Gomen if I haven't been around lately... I... I was held up by something."
Bulma frowns. "What's wrong?" She stands up and rushes to Zelna's side and take's the tray that held her lunch. Bulma sets the tray on the nearby table and looks over at Zelna.
Zelna shuts the door behind her and looks up with sad eyes. "SahlKahn likes you and will use you once you give birth. till then, I am.....so to speak, his whore."
Bulma's eyes widen and she embraces the girl.
Zelna trembles in Bulma's arms, trying to hold back her tears, but to no such avail. She begins to cry into Bulma's shoulder.
Bulma holds Zelna close, she was angry now. Angry because SahlKahn would dare do this to such a young girl. "Don't you worry Zelna, I promise. I am trying my hardest to find a way out... it's just...my pregnancy is holding me down a bit."
Zelna pulls back a little. "I understand Bulma. I know that SahlKahn will kill your child if you try to escape. You don't have to apologize. He would kill us both by draining our energy if we tried to escape, that is why it is so hard. I've been trying to find a way out for years, but every time I try...that fear of dying returns."
Bulma sighs. "Don't you worry, I know my husband is coming. Hopefully, he has brough Son Kun with him."
Zelna whipes her tears away. "Who is Son Kun?"
Bulma smiles. "He is a friend that I've grown up with since I was your age. He is very powerful and he is a saiyan as well. He and Vegeta are best friends and are a good team when they work together. I'm sure, once they find us... they'll save us."
Zelna nods. "Well, we are approaching the planet Sokna where SahlKahn lives. We will be there in the next 2 weeks. I just hope that your husband and Son Kun can find us. It is a long distance from Earth."
Bulma nods. "Hai, I know."
Zelna sighs.
Bulma brushes away a few stray hairs that hung in the girl's face. "Don't you worry Zelna. You just have to promise me that you'll be brave alright?"
Zelna nods. "I promise."
Bulma smiles. "I'm just glad to see you again. I was developing cabin fever and I thought I was going to go crazy from lonliness."
Zelna smiles. "Don't worry, I'll try to come as often as possible."
Bulma nods as the girl went to the door. "See you later Bulma, I hope you enjoy your meal. I cooked it myself."
Bulma nods with a smile.
~~~~~Planet Tranzal~~~~~
The supplies and fuel had been collected and were placed in capsules. Goku sighs as he follows Vegeta down the walk way through town. It was night and Goku wonders where Vegeta was taking him now. Vegeta, where are we going?, Goku asks telepathically.
Vegeta glances at Goku. We'r going to a place where we can find information on SahlKahn., Vegeta replies.
Goku blinks while looking around, What kind of place is it?
A bar, Vegeta answers calmly.
Oh, Goku replies with a nod.
Vegeta stops in front one of the round, dome-like buildings and motions for Goku to follow.
Goku enters the building to find a bar similar to what you'd find on Earth, but the only difference was the variety of aliens that were there. Some of them made Goku shiver upon the site. Some of them were really ugly. Goku shakes the feeling away and follows Vegeta to the main counter were a bar tender awaited them.
The bar tender looked similar to a human. His face is oval, blue tinted skin, blond hair brushed back at shoulder length, claw-like fingers, and golden colored eyes.
Vegeta and Goku sit on the stools at the counter.
Vegeta smirks and begins speaking in the saiyan language. "From what I understand, you're one of the few who understand this language and you know quite a lot. I've come for information on SahlKahn."
The humanoid smirks and responds back in saiya-jin. "Ah, a saiyan, I thought they were extinct. Information is a 2 drink minimum. You and your saiyan friend there will have a drink each before I tell you squat."
Vegeta nods and hands him some of the local alien money. (Yeah, Vegeta has connections...heh heh)
The humanoid smiles and takes the money and proceeds to fill two small shot glass with a strange liquid. "The name's Ghel. You'll like this stuff, you saiya-jins have iron stomachs from what I understand."
Goku looks down at the shot glass that is handed to him. He holds it up, staring at the liquid for a moment before downing it in one gulp. He smirks, replying in saiya-jin. "That was pretty good."
Ghel nods and turns to Vegeta as he drinks down his own glass.
Vegeta shivers slightly and smirks. "I remember trying this before."
Ghel smirks. "Be careful, that stuff stimulates the nerves and can make you feel a little tingly, but anything from that you'll be fine. Now, onto the info you wanted."
Vegeta nods.
Goku shivers as he felt a cold chill travel up his spine then quickly fade away. Hmm, strange. Well, I shouldn't be worried. Ghel said it sorta makes the nerves tingle, but I'll be okay. Goku turns to Ghel as he began to tell them about SahlKahn.
"SahlKahn is a deadly alien. He drains the energy of all species, leaving nothing but death and destruction in his path. If you want to fight him them you better be good at fighting physically because you can't use your ki energy. You and your pal there look strong, but I wish you guys luck. I never liked the guy myself, he came here once for a drink and scared all my customers away... Feh, such a rude bastard. Sometimes I wish Freiza had killed him when he had the chance, but Freiza was killed recently. Anyways, if you want to find him. He lives about a month's worth of travel away from here on the planet Sokna, sector B in the Crol galaxy."
Vegeta nods. "That's what I needed to hear. Take this for your troubles." Vegeta hands Ghel a couple hundred dollars in Tranzal money.
Ghel takes it greatfully. "Thanks." Ghel glances at Goku for a moment and smirks. "Um, I'd be careful on your way out buddy."
Goku blinks. "huh?"
Ghel sighs, "Nevermind."
Vegeta gets up to leave. "Come Kakarotto. We've got what we needed."
Goku attempts to stand up, but something was holding him to the seat and he falls onto the floor.
Ghel smirks, "Told ya to be careful."
Goku yells out in surprise when the chair pinches his tail. "AHH, my ta...Wait, when did I grow that back?"
Ghel smirks, "Must've been the drink. I told you it screws with the nerves."
Vegeta chuckles. "Baka."
The aliens at the other tables pay no mind to Goku falling over and continue chatting and drinking.
Goku carefully pulls his tail from around the stool's leg and he stands up, wavering a little. "Man, that hurt."
"Come on," Vegeta replies while grabbing Goku's arm and pulling him outside.
Once they are outside Vegeta releases Goku's arm and looks him up and down for a moment before walking away towards where they'd left the space pod.
Goku sighs, "Heh heh. Man, I haven't seen my tail since I was a little boy. Sagoi. Hey, wait up Vegeta! Awe, don't run away!"
Vegeta smirks, barely able to contain his excitement. Soon, he would see Bulma and he'd save her and then take pleasure in killing SahlKahn with his bare hands.
Goku runs after Vegeta as the stars twinkled above them.
