You seem pretty full of yourself."<br>SahlKahn smirks. "I know without a doubt that I can easily defeat you without even using my full power."<br>Vegeta steps in front of Bulma. "Hmmph, well... I'll just have to test you out won't I?"<br>Bulma's eyes widen as Vegeta threw a barrage of ki blasts at the figure, but Sahl Kahn smirks as the ki blasts were absorbed into his body.<br>He cocks his head to the side and growls, "My turn." He lunges at Vegeta, claws sharp and ready for action.<br>Vegeta powers up to Supersaiyan and screams. "Bulma! Run damn you!"<br>Bulma nods and runs as fast as her saiyan speed would allow her.<br>Vegeta's eyes widen as SahlKahn's claws tore into his flesh, tearing most of his vidal organs into sushi. He grits his teeth as he is unable to hold the urge to scream in pain.<br>Bulma runs as tears poured from her eyes. As she had drempt, Vegeta was dying... she could feel it and SahlKahn was draining his energy. She stops, unable to go any further. She couldn't just abandon her mate who was now hanging onto life by a thread. She had to help her beloved. She turns her head, her soaked hair whiping behind her. She growls, her tail lashing behind her. She had to fight, it was in her blood.<br>Vegeta screams again as he could feel all his power being drained from his body into SahlKahn. He falls out of supersaiyan mode as he felt his own hot blood soaking his front and pouring onto the sidewalk into a dark puddle. He lifts his face to the stormy sky as his vision blurred. He'd never imagined dying this way, not in this manner.... He hated to be giving up so easily, but he had no energy left to spare... he was now as weak as a human.<br>Bulma runs at full speed and flies up, swooping onto SahlKahn's shoulders and using her physical prowess to tear, scratch, and bite at his dark flesh.<br>SahlKahn yells in surprise. "You little bitch!" He backhands Bulma across the face, sending her flying through the air. Just as Bulma was about to hit the ground something catches her. She looks up through her hair that hung in her face to see Goku, her best friend holding her.<br>"Bulma, you okay?"<br>Bulma nods.<br>Goku smiles and then quickly fades as he hears another pained cry come from Vegeta. "Stay here Bulma, you can't risk losing the baby in this fight. Leave it to me..."<br>"Goku sa! Be careful! He'll absorb your energy!"<br>Goku nods. "I'll remember that."<br>SahlKahn growls, "Damn, I have more company. Too bad I couldn't finish you Vegeta..." He releases his claws from Vegeta's body with a jerk, causing more blood to splatter onto him. SahlKahn licks the back of his bloody hand and smirks before turning to Goku.<br>Vegeta wheezes as he knew that this was the end of the line for him. He calls out to his mate telepathically, praying to Dende that she was safe.<br>Goku stops in front of SahlKahn and glares at him angrily, the lighting flashing and playing across his face to give him the appearance of a dark knight of justice.<br>Bulma's eyes widen as she responds to her barely conscious mate. <i>Vegeta, use your healing powers! I know you still have them...</i><br>Vegeta grits his teeth as another surge of pain coarsed through his body. <i>I don't have enough energy and I...I don't think I can use it... I haven't beenable to tap into it since I healed you....7 months ago.</i><br>Bulma frowns. <i>Damn you Vegeta! I know you can do it! Don't give up so easily you baka! Me and your son are counting on you!</i><br>Vegeta's eyes widen. <i>Yes.....I....I'll do it.......try.</i> He squints his eyes shut and summons his remaining strength and every bit of energy in his body. A white aura surrounded Vegeta as he slowly could feel his torn organs healing. He could feel the cuts knitting themselves shut as Goku and SahlKahn fought long and hard.<br>Vegeta opens his eyes, and stares at his torn shirt were his wound once was; he now only saw his well chiseled abs. He quickly stands up, and runs to Bulma, not caring what was going on around him. As long as she was in his arms, he knew she'd be safe, but it was not meant to be.<br>SahlKahn had witnessed Vegeta's miraculous healing and he growls in frustration and finally finds this battle with Goku a bore.<br>Goku's eyes widen as SahlKahn became transparent and soaked into the ground like a sponge. He knew what SahlKahn was after and he whips his head in the direction that he was heading. "Vegeta! BULMA! WATCH OUT!"<br>Vegeta is suddenly thrown back by a strong force and flung into Goku.<br>Bulma screams as she felt SahlKahn's arms go around her, pulling her up into the air with him.<br>Vegeta growls in frustration as he flew up into the air, ignoring Goku's protests. He flies up as fast as he can to Bulma's outstreatched arms, he almost had Bulma's hand in his when suddenly, she as well became transparent. He waves his hands through Bulma's body as the world suddenly became silent accept for the loud rumbling of thunder and the howling wind. "No.."<br>Bulma's tears rolled silently down her cheeks as SahlKahn laughed in triumph.<br>"Well, I told you Vegeta you couldn't defeat me and now your mate is mine! I'm going to take her to a place where you cannot follow me... deep space. But first I must destroy your link you have with her." He frowns and suddenly a jolt of energy sparked from his forehead.<br>The energy hit Vegeta's own fore and he screams in agony as he felt his mind being torn from the link he had with Bulma. Their bond was mentally shattered, leaving nothing as SahlKahn disappeared into oblivion, leaving Vegeta falling to the ground.<br>Goku flies over to Vegeta who now laid on the ground in utter shock. "Vegeta..."<br>Vegeta did not respond, he only stared into space as tears streamed down his pale cheeks. She was gone....and their bond shattered by a merciless...hateful being.
