A loud explosion tears them away from their happiness as a cloud of darkness quickly began approaching the cave at top speed, lighting crackling all around, sending numerous trees into flames. Burning embers fly through the air, singing the cloth of Vegeta's blue spandex. He ushers Bulma into the back of the cave, sheltering her and their newborn son with his body. "I want you to stay here woman. I will not hear a word about you fighting. I won't lose you again..."<br>Bulma stares into his onyx black eyes and she can see the worry in them, the faint line of tears forming and his breath quickened. "I understand Vegeta..."<br>Vegeta kisses her quickly, his lips held in place. <i>I do not want to leave her but I have no choice...</i> He pulls away, touching his son's small head with his fingertips, hoping that he will live to see his son and wife again. He rises to his feet, turning away before he decides to stay. With one last hesitation he murmers, "I love you." Then he is gone in a flash of yellow ki.<br>Bulma watches on with tears in her eyes and smile on her lips. "Take care Gokusa... Vegeta....Zelna... all three of you. I know that you will win this battle." She looks down at her wimpering son, drawing him closer to the warmth of her breasts. "Don't you worry little one. Daddy will come back and then we can go home."<br>Goku is thrown to the ground, his body leaving a distinct impression of his backside. He winces slightly then quickly rises back to his feet. <i>Remember, no ki just strength.</i> He jumps to the side, a dark ki blast hurtling past him, singing a piece of his hair. He takes flight, circling SahlKahn with careful precision. <i>I can't allow him to touch me.</i><br>SahlKahn growls in irritation. "Have you not learned that you cannot defeat me?! Do you see down there?"<br>Goku glances down then returns his gaze to SahlKahn.<br>"That pathetic bitch Zelna honestly thought she could defeat me!!!." SahlKahn laughs. "What makes you think that a saiyan of your standards can do much more than she? Your only avoiding the innevitable."<br>"I never give up," Goku replies. "It just isn't my nature."<br>"Nature," SahlKahn laughs. "You saiyans are just muscle bound pea brains. You all preach the same and yet you can never back it up. Come on Goku, entertain me. From what I understand, it was you who killed Freiza and I also know that I have a higher advantage over you since I can absord any energy that you throw at me but if it is your will to fight me then so be it, I grow board of you and I want to finish this as quickly as p...!!!!!! AAK!"<br> Before SahlKahn could finish his sentence a gold tipped boot collides with his face, sending him spiraling to the ground but it didn't stop there. He could feel unrelenting blows being struck upon him and for a moment he is to overwhelmed to move. He spits blood when a fist is thrust into his midsection, tearing flesh and allowing blood to flow profusely. The pain he felt was the likes that he'd never felt before."<br>"Now you know what if feels like to have your guts 
ripped out. Heh, payback's a bitch insn't it?"<br>Goku cannot help but smile. "Vegeta, I thought you'd never come. How's Bulma?"<br>"They're fine," Vegeta hollars over SahlKahns screams. "All talk! That's all you are!"<br>Goku ponders for a moment, "They...YOU MEAN...SHE HAD THE BABY?!"<br>Vegeta doesn't answer, too absorbed in the beating that he is giving.<br>SahlKahn cannot understand where Vegeta suddenly got all his strength from but then he remembers something... <br><font color=blue>~~~~~FlashBack~~~~~</font><br>"Do you honestly think you can defeat the saiyans so easily?"<br>SahlKahn turns to Freiza, "Mind you, I have known about them much longer than you have."<br>Freiza smirks, "Ah but there is one thing you forgot to take note of."<br>SahlKahn chuckles, "And what pray is that....Lord freiza."<br>"Whenever they are injured, they heal and get stronger every time. Their strength is limitless and that is why it is important that I eliminate them as quickly as possible."<br>SahlKahn raises an eyebrow," stronger?"<br><font color=blue>~~~~~End of Flash Back~~~~~</font><br>SahlKahn is nearly blind, no longer able to see the stars above. He had been defeated so....easily.... <i>Yes</i>, he thought. <i>They get stronger every time they are injured and healed... how could I have forgotten? Was I such a fool to believe that I... could win? I'm such an idiot..</i><br>SahlKahn grabs Vegeta's hands, holding him still with his remaining strength. "I may have underestimated you saiyans but be reminded that even though I may die. A shadow's death is never permanent."<br>Vegeta maneauvers his legs, swinging them around and dealing the final blow to his heart with a thrust of his heals.
