Chapter Three: Introductions are in Order

“It can’t be possible,” I muttered as I was dragged down the hall and I stared at the artwork on the one wall. It showed great battle with tailed warriors slaughtering hundreds of different aliens.
“You should be worried, the King is very curious about you,” the guard laughed as he continued to drag me by my arm, his tail securely wrapped around his waist again.
“Why would the King of the Saiyans care about one eighteen year old girl?” I asked myself and I decided I wasn’t enjoying this very much.
“So you’re eighteen, do you know what that makes you?” Raditz asked as he continued to drag me and we turned down a hallway and I saw huge doors and large tapestries.
“No, not that I would,” I said as we turned down another corridor.
“It means you are of age and are free to anyone strong enough to take you,” he chuckled as we walked and I curled my lip. “I think there will be a few fights over who get to keep you. Hell, I’ll probably even try, depending on who else wants you.” I suppressed the urge to make a puking noise and I decided on trying to get away from this situation. I looked to see if I could reach his tail and I smiled when I saw I could easily reach it.
“Please let this be true,” I whispered as I grabbed onto Raditz’s tail and squeezed as hard as I could.
“AAAUGHHH!” he moaned as he released my arm and fell to his knees. I smiled slightly in fear as I realized he would probably kill me for this.
“I guess it’s true about Saiyan tails,” I gulped as I looked for something to keep pressure on Raditz’s tail while I made a run for it and I smiled in relief as I noticed there was a door close enough for me to tuck the tail into. “Sorry, Raditz, but I don’t think I want to meet the king.” I closed the door on his tail and he fell to his face making noises. I turned and ran down the corridor turning onto other corridors after I couldn’t see Raditz anymore.
“Maybe I should have thought this out more thoroughly,” I muttered as I looked down the next hallway and saw a tall Saiyan with a semi-tall Saiyan with his hair in a ponytail. I hid in an alcove as they passed and they didn’t seem to notice me at all.
“And then she hit him with a ki ball the size of a space pod,” the smaller one laughed and the tall one chuckled.
“Enough wasting time we have to check out our new pods, Toma,” the big one laughed as they walked past. I smiled as I decided to follow the two to the space pods, maybe I could steal one and try and get to someplace safer. I followed the two, staying far enough behind and hiding when they passed other Saiyans. I gasped when I saw the launch pad, it was really big and there was a Saiyan around every corner.
“Man, this could be hard,” I muttered and I reached up to my neck and pulled out my Celtic cross out and kissed it for good luck. “Because sitting here definitely won’t solve any of my problems.” I wished I wasn’t wearing my work out outfit (it was a sports bra, a pair of bicycle shorts, sneakers, and wrist bands), it stuck out a little bit. I sighed as I ducked behind equipment and I finally made it to a dark corner and, in what seemed a change in my luck, a pod was alone on its launch pad, open.
“Well, this could be a good sign,” I muttered as I scurried into it and pressed a red button, which closed the door. “Hey! On the first try too.” I looked around me and sighed, I had no idea where to begin.
“What the hell, I can only lose my life,” I said as I hit the green button next to the red button.
“Prepare for take off in…ten…nine…” an electronic voice said.
“Oh, yeah, they’d have to make it simple for the likes of Raditz,” I chuckled as I sat back and sighed. I was almost home free.
“Five…four…” the voice continued, but I looked up into the window and saw the angry eyes of a very big, very mad Saiyan.
“Ooh, this could be bad,” I croaked as the Saiyan lifted the pod up. “TAKE OFF ALREADY!”
“One…ignition!” the voice said and suddenly there was no Saiyan holding onto the pod and I was forced into the seat by the G-forces.
“Computer?” I asked praying that it would respond.
“Yes, Nappa?” it responded and I groaned.
“Where is the destination?” I asked as I shook my head, this was bad.
“None has been entered yet, we will only be flying in the atmosphere of Vegitasei until you do,” it responded and I slapped my head. I hit the bump and groaned as I felt the stab of pain.
“This can’t get any worse!” I cried as I looked at all the controls.
“No, my dear, it can,” a voice spoke from the little device on the side of the chair. I picked up what must have been a scouter and put it by my ear.
“Oh, and how can this get any worse?” I asked, hoping it wasn’t Nappa.
“I’m collecting you,” the voice said and I looked up to see a face in the portal, it wasn’t Nappa (some hopes are too small).
“Well, then do it,” I growled as I attached the scouter to my ear and pressed a button. The pod suddenly dropped and I hit the red button again by accident. “This will be bad.” I grabbed the straps in the chair as the door opened and the suction threatened to rip me from the pod.
“Well this makes my job easier,” the voice laughed and I watched a hand press several buttons and the pod landed and I cried as the voice’s owner pulled me from the pod by the arm. “My, my, my, you had some fun, now how did you escape Raditz?”
“Why should I tell you?” I asked as I tried to free my arm.
“She grabbed my tail,” Raditz said as he came out of the rather large crowd that had surrounded my captors and me.
“Don’t forget I closed the door on it,” I said just as I was lifted off the ground and was face to face with my captor.
“I wouldn’t be making jokes if I were you, you’re in enough trouble as it is,” the new Saiyan said.
“Let me have her, Bardock, I have to teach her a lesson for stealing my pod,” a very tall, bald Nappa (I could only guess).
“You can’t yet Nappa, the King wishes to see her first,” Raditz said as he grabbed my other arm. I was now suspended, by the arms, about a foot off the ground.
“Take her away now, before she has an ‘accident’,” Nappa growled as he ripped the scouter off my ear.
“Yes sir,” Raditz and Bardock said as they turned to carry me off.
“I hope you enjoyed your flight, little one,” Raditz growled as he squeezed my arm painfully. I bit my lip to keep from crying out.
“It was fun while it lasted,” I sighed and we came to a guarded door that was three times Raditz’s height. “Now is going to be the hard part.”
“You’re right about that child,” Bardock said as we entered the room and I was thrown at the feet of a small flight of stairs that led to a platform. On that platform was a thrown and on that thrown was a tall, big, not happy looking King Vegeta.
“So you are the girl,” he said as I looked up at him. I gulped as I got to my feet and dusted myself off.
“The name’s Mabelle, King Vegeta,” I said as I stared at the scariest living thing I had ever seen.
“What are we going to do with you?” he smiled as he stood up and glared down at me.
Well, I’m with the king, but somehow I don’t think a verse of ‘You ain’t nothing but a hound dog’ will cheer things up. I have to tell you thing are going to go downhill from here. I’ll see you next time of Dragon Ball YWBT.
