For those of you unfamiliar with Saber Marionette, it consists of many radio, manga, TV, and OVA series.
The story of Saber Marionette J, one of the more popular series, takes place in the 22nd century, when an overpopulation on Earth forced humanity to migrate into space. A space ark, Mesopotamia, malfunctioned and crashed on planet Terra 2. Only six males survived. The males cloned themselves as a mean of procreation. The six men built city states (which the pure clones were rulers of): Japones, Germania, Petersburg, Seian, New Texas, and Romana. Since Terra 2 was populated only by men, female androids, marionettes, were created. 300 years after Mesopotamia's crash, Mamiya Otaru, a Japones resident, is a seemingly ordinary boy except that he treats marionettes with respect. One day he stumbles upon an old history museum, and accidentally triggers a trap underneath him, while gazing at a portrait of a female scientist from Mesopotamia, Lorelei. In the underground chamber he's fallen into, he finds a marionette in suspended animation, which he awakens. Otaru is destined to awaken two more marionettes, all three possessing maiden chips- giving them personalities. Together, Otaru and his marionettes must protect Japones from the ambitious Faust, leader of Germania.
Bloodberry was the last of the marionnettes to be awakened by Mamiya Otaru. When she first appeared in episode 5, Faust's Challenge, her strength and fighting skills were infinite, but was later said to have leveled off to that of the other marionettes once spoiled by Otaru. She is much more "mature" than Lime and Cherry, and, at first, didn't think highly of them but later grew to accept them as a team. She's very forward with Otaru about affection, and uses her sexual prowess and physical attributes to get his attention. She often hurts Otaru when trying to be affectionate w/ him. Bloodberry loves to drink, so much so that she even drinks in the presence of her enemies at times. She's quite stubborn too. Her weakness is tact, or lack there of. Of the sexdolls, Panther is her rival. All three sexdolls are named after WWII tanks,which so happen to be named after cats. Bloodberry's voice actress is Hiramatsu Akiko, who also does the voice of Nene Romanova(Bubble Gum Crash), Akagi Haruko(Slam Dunk), Cross(Iczelion), and various other characters from other anime.
