What is AMSA?
-AMSA is a student-run national organization committed to representing the concerns of current and future physicians.
-A group of students who are concerned that access to high quality health care should be a right, not a privilege.
-Future health professionals who want to begin learning about the system they will eventually enter into.
Goals of AMSA
-Promote/advocate for important changes in out health care system.
-Help educate and raise public awareness of important issues such as AIDS, health care disparities, and the lack of diversity in medicine.
How AMSA helps you
-Learn about the health care system in the U.S. and what can be done to improve it.
-Attend national conferences, need other like-minded students and become and advocate for better health.
-Gain access to databases for volunteer work, MCAT study materials, research and internships!
