The
Mother's Day Festival
The
Spanish Club host a Festival dedicated to the mothers. The
Mothers Day Festival is one of the biggest
events that the Spanish Club organizes is an event dedicated
to the mothers where students and teachers can take their mothers
to thank them for all the things that they have done for them.
The festival organizes a poetry contest where the students submit
a poem to the Club that is dedicated to the mothers and three
or
more teachers reads the poems and decides which are the best’s
poems. The winner of the contest is announced and the prize is
given to the winner. Then the winners read their poems during
the festival. The Festival also has food, drinks, Mexican candy,
flowers
and many other things. The Club also organizes some games to
give some prizes to the mothers. The Festival has different kinds
of
entertainments for the mothers. Some of the things that the Mothers
Day Festival has are: Mariachi, Ballet Folklorico, modern dancers,
students that sing to the mothers and many other things.
Field Trips
Another events are the field trips to Universities and other
places that promote the Spanish language.
Tutoring
Tutoring after school is held in room 308 from 3:08pm to 4:00
pm every week from Monday to Thursday. The students can
go there and
get a tutoring paper that confirms that the student was a tutoring.
Some teachers give extra credit if you stay at tutoring.
Clean-Up Days
Clean-up
days are held also after school on some Thursdays the exact days
are announce in the Spanish Club meetings.
On the
days that
there’s clean up days the students report to room 308
to get organize to start cleaning.
Holiday Grams
The
Spanish Club also sells grams on some holiday's. For December
the Club did Christmas grams that were sold
with out a problem. |
