Introduction
Hello and welcome to my site. It's a bit pants at the mo, and to be honest, being my first attempt, it might not get any better.
I have the intention of having various me related subjects ranging from my belvoed Darlo (Darlington FC) to my zany friends.
This will be updated soon. I am going to devote some time to web learning.
It's gonna have jokes and links, educational advise, and cultural debates (on good stuff like football and the Simpsons).
Possible stuff to come: Football - Darlo, Sadberge FC, SWOS, My weird life, The adventures of Steve Diasis (not to be missed), my lists (at the mo, they are changing below), and other stuff that I can't remember or haven't thought of yet.
Keep an eye on this. I might surprise you.
All the best
Simon.
Latest News
- 23/2/03 - Canny Hill 5 Sadberge 0 - A fair result in the end, Canny Hills firepower too much for an out of form Sadberge defence. Rob Hall missed in the middle, no ideas for Sadberge up front. Tireless running from Gary Bowman was not rewarded with the service he needs. MOM went again to inform gk: Simon Brodie, mainly because I had so many stops to make. Survival is looking more difficult now, team morale is at an all time low. When we start enjoying the football again, results will follow.
- 21/2/03 - Career development. Desired job now available, preparation well under way.
- 20/2/03 - SWOS night. Surprise as Flip wins league on goal difference. My dismal form continues, defensive problems were the main fault this time. As well as SWOS, the evening was complemented by beer (no change there then) and Monty Python,
- 20/2/03 - Tickets purchased for Darlos derbies. C'mon!!!
- 16/2/03 - Website continues to grow with pics inserted, backgrounds applied. Apart from the running links to other sites, my top 10s are completed.
- 16/2/03 - Sadberge FC 0 AFC Orange 5 - A dismal result plunging more pressure on our relegation battle. Enigma makes 2nd half debut on right wing. Some good runs, with some crunching challenges. MOM goes to super goalie Simon Brodie (Me) for heroics at keeping it down to five.
- 14/2/03 - Career development. My curent employers would like me to apply for a top reporting job. The futures bright...
- 13/2/03 - Night out in Newcastle with Flip, Shez and Steph (featuring a cameo from Donna). Amazing as usual. Started with a little SWOS and beer. Beer on the train. A great meal (with beer), onto a couple of pubs for beer, went to Revolution for Vodka shooters, bitter lemon is lurvley and beer, onto Flares where I had a tequila (Yeargh). Then to Foundation, the best indie night in Britain where we danced and drank until the earlier hours. Leaving for the station we danced and joked and sang (footy songs). On arrival at the station we discovered that it was shut. Phil thinking we could still catch the train follwed me and Shez onto the platform, via the mail entrance. We had missed the train. Back to Stephs, where we crashed on the floor. Top night out.
- 9/2/03 - Website is taking shape (kind of)
- 8/2/03 - Ally Wins SWOS (again). In a last gasp organised fiasco, Ally confirmed his dominance as he romped to yet another victory. In the final, he even had to play himself.
