This
part of "M.T.T.C.&U.R.M.G.T.S.I.T.W.O.D.E.3D
L.E. A.T.S !" -will teach you the most important
parts of creating, making, preparing and placing
textures ingame for your Thief level, using dromed.
However most chapters cover steps that can be used by
"all" 3d level builders as texturing
technics are the same.
Only formats and implanting methods are speciall for
Dromed / Thief.
As always: I'm not a writer, not an English speaking
person, so typo's bad english and bad structure throu
this guide (I'm not a programmer either); will
probably bother you sometimes so please forgive me. I
intend to add a menu system with direct linking etc.
but will wait with it until completion of all
chapters = true :)
This
is version 0.2 and is slightly cleaned up from the
v-0.1. It still miss some chapters and sub-parts, but
if you're a newcommer, which this guide is ment for
mostly, you'll be able to create textures, or at
least know a little of how it is done.
However If you search in the editor's guild for textures, you probably end up with 1000's of topic's, and there are many helpfull members that want to help out new taffers :)

If you look at those you will see better how I make
textures; though the quality vary, but common for
them all is the effort to make them look
as photorealistic as possible, most are hires modes, and
all are heavy contrasted, to give as much 3d feel as
possible, enhanching the shadows and each texture's
special contures. This require little more work with
the lights and shadows than the more safe &
"flat" textures.Many are semi-ready, meaning the final touch/ polish is needed to make them work good ingame.
Either you' ll like them or you would do it completely different;
