IN  MEMORY  OF

Lynda Gaynell Landrum Flory

One of the many poems that Lynda wrote
has been included for your enjoyment.

JUST FOR YOU

Can you count the little stars
That in the heavens shine?
Can you see the silver moonlight
Streaming through the towering pines?

See the fluffy snow-white clouds
Floating through the heavens blue,
Feel the warm and gentle sunshine,
God made them JUST FOR YOU!

See the dainty rainbow flowers
Dancing in the morning dew,
And lakes silvered by the sunlight
When the day is nearly through.

Hear the thunder's deep, low roll,
See the lighting in the sky,
Feel the sweet and cool wet rainfall
Descending from the clouds on high.

All these many, awful wonders,
All these many, love-filled sights,
Were made by God the Father
To enlighten earthly nights.

Those who knew Lynda know of the many burdens she endured.
Her love for the Lord and her hope in Him never wavered.
She always relied on Jesus, The Solid Rock. This hymn says it well.

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus' blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly trust in Jesus' Name.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness seems to hide His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood.
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my Hope and Stay.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh may I then in Him be found.
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,
All other ground is sinking sand;
All other ground is sinking sand.

"The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew
and beat against that house; yet, it did not fall
because it had its foundation on the rock." Matthew 7:25-26
