A little background on how IFA was born:
For several years, a small group of friends on the island planned an annual "International Potluck Party". Guests were invited and asked to prepare a dish from their country of origin and if possible wear their native attire. In 2004 there were over 80 in attendance and they represented over 15 different countries. Several individuals asked about the possibility of putting a club together on the island and planning monthly activities. Therefore, International Friends of Aruba was born.
