Business Ethics in a Modern World (Too-Many/Lack-Of)
Mood:  rushed
The primary function or goal of a business is to provide marketable goods to the consumer while producing revunue. However if the business owner had too many ethics he/she would probably provide the kinds of goods that are apeasing to their moral beliefs or customs. For example say a man wanted to purchase condoms and your doesn't carry preventative contraceptives because it against your beliefs.Your business could loose potential customers based the store owners belief system and the non availiability of a product. Once the perspective customer goes elsewhere for goods this gives your competitors the revenue as well as a chance to establish and maintain a relationship with the new customer based on product availiability, price, distance traveled, and customer service. So in this case its obvious having too many moral means that your viewpoint is one-sided therefore you are not conducting business appropriately based on the diversity of people you want to patronize your business.

The lack of business ethics or none at all can also be a potential disaster for business because there is no focus or mission. In business you have to establish some kind of structure because without stategic planning, goals, or proposal there can really be no business.

Since we are on the suject of business. I would like to explore the idea of what is need to become a small business of a hairsalon and what are all of the cost for equipment, licensing, etc to make it a lucrative business?
