Mood:
The way I typically begin to write an essay predominantly depends on my mood regarding my knowledge of the topic. There are times were it seems that I cannot focus. It's usually called writers block. The way I tend to overcome this is by brainstorming using my ideas, views or lack of.I tend to like to ask questions so that I have a clear and concise understanding of what the reader may what to know hopefully; to help induce thoughts so that reader may feel interested or involved in the topic therefore inducing a new sense of awareness. Before I actually begin to write I like to use a thesaurus to help find new way of stating an ideas without being repetitious.I also found by doing this also helped me to improve my vocabulary skills so that I appear to be more academically inclined. My essay is written based on the most important ideas or concepts that I come with, but the problem I have the most is transitioning everything together to make my arguments stronger from one topic to the next. The introduction and thesis statement is usually done last because I usually can't come up with a thesis statement until I have explored my essay thoroughly then this is when I find a defining viewpoint which shapes all of the aspects of the essay. This isn't an easy job for me it takes awhile for me to definitively develop my topics until I'm satified with the finished product. I have learned in English that there are no finished works of writing because someone can take your idea and come up a totally new concept or idea, its kind of like evolution of words.
