How do you do it?

The presentation should contain the following elements:

 

What are my duties?

1st person: sets the scene for the story and answers the following questions.

·         Where did the action occur?

·         What was the area like?

(describe the background, scene, etc)

·         Who are the major characters?

(beauty and the beast, sleeping beauty and the prince, etc)

Students must use the imperfect tense to set the scene for their legend.

5-7 sentences of 8 words or more.

Minimum of 7 different imperfect verbs.

 

 

2nd person:

·         Continues the story

·         What happened to the characters? (use the preterite for all major completed actions)

·         2 major events (ex: she robbed a store, she ate a poison apple)

5-7 sentences of 8 words or more.

Minimum of 5 different preterite verbs and 3 imperfect verbs.

 

3rd person:

·         Completes the story

·         What happened in the end?

·         What is the end of the story?

 5-7 sentences of 8 words or more.

Minimum of 5 different preterite verbs and 3 imperfect verbs.

 

 

If necessary:         4th person:

o        Describes what happened to main characters after the story is over.

o        What were their lives like after the “Lesson Learned”?

 

5-7 sentences of 8 words or more.

Minimum of 5 different preterite verbs and 3 imperfect verbs.

 

 

          Each person must then present at least three slides of their power point presentation.  Each student must present slides directly related to the part of the story that student has written.  The slides must be visually appealing and be able to help the audience understand what the student is trying to say.
