Hello Familia & Friends,
The goal is to have this website available, not only for reunion information but for any information you would like to share with everyone and to be able see what is going on any time of the year in the familia.
First of all, I'd like to thank Maria Chavela Perez for making us get our act together and starting the planning for the 2005 family reunion. Information was first passed out at the 2004 reunion.
A meeting was held on Saturday, January 22, 2005, at Koty Madero's house in Norco. Representatives present were: Chavela, Maguita Aguirre, Koty Madero, Norma Badillo. Others in attendance were Pidi, Lilia, and Ysela. We are asking that each family send at least one representative to attend meetings and bring information back to their families and to share ideas as to what is to be done at the reunion. Remember, this is a family project and EVERYONE should be involved, but you can choose as a family to just send one representative. The next meeting will be on Saturday, March 19, 2005, from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Ysela and Eddie's house in Fontana.
The information for LOCATION: Yucaipa Regional Park, Yucaipa, California (near the stage)
DATE: Saturday, July 16, 2005
TIME: 10:00 a.m. to sundown
FOOD: This year's reunion will be potluck. Each family is required to bring 1 main dish and 1 side dish enough to feed their family PLUS 10 more. We will have a sign up sheet, so we know what we'll need. At our next meeting, we'll be asking for a volunteer to be in charge of this, so if you're interested, come to the meeting so you can get all the info. Food will be served at 12:00, so please plan to be there by then. If you are bringing something to grill, please bring your grill, or if you have a big grill you would like to offer for everyone to use, please let us know.
DRINKS: Each family will bring their own drinks.
This year's reunion will also have the following: Camping, Family Activities, Talent Show and Water Park. Please check out the links below for more detailed information!
REMEMBER, this reunion is a chance to spend some time with our family and loved ones that we don't always get a chance to see. If you have any ideas on how we can spend some more time together, please, please come to the next meeting. We are open to anything, prayer time, games, story time, etc. This is the time we can take to let others now how important they are to our lives and to appreciate how much God has blessed us by having such a loving family.
