Welcome to the website of Alpha
Gamma Epsilon Sorority. Founded on the ideals of unity, strength,
and sisterhood, our sorority is the oldest sorority at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. Alpha Gamma Epsilon is not a national sorority. We are a local sorority, unique to Hamline, with our own traditions and ideals. As a social sorority, we are not affiliated with any particular academic field or any particular religion. Rather, we are a group of young women who are forwarding our lives through participation in our sorority and community.
We promote scholarship, leadership, and well-being through our actions and ideals.
Throughout the school year we hold weekly business
meetings, organize several all-campus social events, organize events with the other Greek houses on campus, have two rush seasons, engage in fundraising activities, and aid our community through our
community service events.
In addition to AGE, sisters are involved in several other organizations and activities on campus. You can find them on the Student Congress Executive Board, at Inter-Greek Council meetings, participating in StuBoard, and cheering for Hamline sports teams, in addition to several other activities. We believe that it is very important to be involved in a variety of activities on campus to get the most out of the academic experience.
