Fruit and
Yogurt Salad

Ingredients:

2 cup plain or vanilla yogurt
-
1/2 lbs strawberries - washed
- 2 bananas
- 1 large apple
- 1 small melon (cantaloupe)
- 1/4 lbs white seedless grapes - washed
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar (confectioners)

2 egg whites
-
2 tbsp almond flakes (or pistachios)

2 tbsp lemon juice
Procedures:
- Cut bananas into 1/2 inch slices.
- Peel the apple and cut roughly into
large 1-inch cubes.
- Cut melon into 1 inch cubes.
- Put all fruits in a large bowl.
- Drizzle with the lemon juice, then
toss and refrigerate for an hour.
- The lemon juice prevents
discoloration.
- Beat eggwhites and sugar until snow
peaks form.
- Fold in the yogurt, then pour on top
of the fruits.Top with almond flakes.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before
serving.
