February 14th, 2006 - We're back and it feels fucking great! After a year (or two) of strenuous labor and divulging The Void a bit too generously I've rediscovered the sheer joy of creating music again. Myself and a friend have officially decided to exhume the dormant moniker from history's tomb and begin recording new material with the PRPF stamp of dislocated perspective, limitless boundaries, and promise of surplus experimental soundscapes. At once very personal music, yet also completely interpretational to the listener. The experience is not navigated for you. Unfortunately for some this means you're going to have to decide for yourself what those soundscapes do. What images they evoke or memories which float to the surface of consciousness while listening. Or not. I do this for my reasons. And that's the way it should always be.
I am working at a relatively stoned pace to get everything on this site up and running again. Soon I'll have the whole demo tape I released two years ago in my area up on the site in MP3 format. I believe the final "product" turned out just fucking swell, I put alot of effort into that damned casette. The demo, since no one knows about it, is not really a demo, I created a fake label for it named CWCS, as a "demonstration" of the label's signees. Though, hahahurhur, me and friends were behind all three projects:
1.Pat Robertson's Prayer Face (me on everything)
2.Kathy Bate's Orgasm Fart (Baron, Ben, and myself)
3.Peruvian Mineshaft (myself and a friend experimenting with live recording and post-mixing processes.)
Anyway, there were alot of tracks on that tape, a good hour of material. But I'm now obviously wanting to create some new stuff, so I'll just host the tape for everyone who wants to hear it. Soon. Also, Kathy Bate's Orgasm Fart WAS included on the Darqueside Records compilation CD "Darqueside of the Underground". I couldn't have been more thrilled with the result. A high-grade release whith many great included bands.
