
I graduated from Kenyon College on May 18, 2002. Rather than get a "real job" in the "real world", I decided to join the Peace Corps, which actually came about because I didn't win a Watson Fellowship to go study wine culture. But I'm excited about it -- maybe I'll finally become fluent in Spanish! So here we go. Two years. You can keep track and follow me here...

(Note: 23 December 2004) I officially ended my Peace Corps Nicaragua volunteer service on 12 November, 2004. This website is a reflection of my experience there and the journey back home through Central America. I hope that you find this site helpful, interesting, entertaining, and/or enlightening. Although it will be available for viewing, maintenence of the site will end in the year 2005. It has been a pleasure serving you the public.
