The H.S.S.G wish to thank the following people and organisations for their contributions both past, present and future in raising the awareness and helping sufferers of HS.

Mike Trodd and Norlei Le Fay:

 Who founded the Campaign For Hidradenitis Research (C.F.H.R) and the original H.I.D.E UK & Ireland web sites.  For raising HS awareness by  publishing their story and also their research into Hidradenitis Suppurativa. 

Carolyn Corrin and Alison:

 for their efforts in running the HSSG from 1999 to 2002, for listening to the callers who telephoned seeking help (and a friendly ear) and their contribution (both time and financial) in producing and mailing over 4000 leaflets to sufferers who were unable to use the web site. 

Andy Dann:

 For her contributions in helping to maintain the original C.F.H.R/H.I.D.E UK & Ireland web site and her continuing efforts raising awareness of HS through her own personal web pages.

Mike Bonnar:

 For the founding of H.I.D.E International and his devotion to helping sufferers both on and off the web, together with coordinating medical research into HS has been an inspiration to us all.

Sylvia Shawcross: 

For co-founding of H.I.D.E International, her work behind the scenes, her coordinating of the medical research and her personal advice and continuing support in the forming of the H.S.S.Group - H.I.D.E UK & Ireland.

The Skin Care Campaign: 

 For their help, advice and continuing support in raising the awareness of HS.
