It is my hope that all students
will gain a better understanding of cultures foreign to them.
Students will also be prepared for life-skills Spanish, where
they will be able to communicate using basic questions and responses
should they be required to do so in a real life setting. Students
will gain a better understanding of the grammar and syntax of
Spanish AND English.

This is my twelth
year in Education and I've been teaching Spanish at Butler for all
twelve years. I am a Butler alumnus, having graduated in 1985. I
graduated from Augusta College in 1989 with a B.A. in Sociology
and a minor in Spanish (major coursework wasn't offered in Spanish
at that time). I studied at the University of Salamanca in Spain
for one Summer between my junior and senior years of college. I
am currently the Tennis coach and the girls volleyball coach. My
hobbies include: playing volleyball, weightlifing, swimming, tennis,
reading, mountain biking and spending time with my wife.
