  Welcome to my Web site!

This is my first website and is totally dedicated for the Dalgamouni Family around the world, especially my family news, photos, and events related to us.

History of Dalgamouni Family:

I've read that the Great Father of the family lived in Egypt, he had three children, their names were: Dalgamouni, Tahtamount, Bahar. For a reason they traveled, the Dalgamouni and Bahar to Jordan, Tahtamouni to Palestine. The Dalgamouni family is considered one of seven families in Irbed (The second largest city in Jordan with a pop. of 1 million) who established the city, and it was the richest one before its turn over on them. The population of the Dalgamouni family is around 1 thousand member and more. They all considered pure Jordanian even though their are some families who came from Palestine during the years 1948 and 1967 and joined the Dalgamouni Family.

The Dalgamouni Family has a "Madafa" it is like a large guest place for all the family to meet every day. It is the oldest Madafa in Irbed but we have recently built a new one instead of the old. The Madafa holds their meetings, their condolences in death and congratulations in Marriage and happy occasions, and every one inters the Madafa outside the Dalgamounies is considered as a guest and should be served by Coffee and to let him/them set in a suitable place among the Dalgamounies in the Madafa.

Any how this Madafa is for men only, no women are allowed to inter it, and one of its usefulness is the money loans it gives to the members who are contributing to its fund. Women have a yard behind the Madafa it is surrounded with Dalgamounies' buildings and suitable for the weddings parties we hold, so they can dance and sing without being embarrassed of strangers watching them.
