Clare's Semester in Ireland

As some of you know, I am spending the fall semester of my junior year in Galway, Ireland. "Why Ireland?" you ask... Well... First of all, in high school I was an idiot and I never took a language that I can actually SPEAK... So, by default, I kind of had to go to a country where everyone speaks English. Also, as Reed says, by going to Ireland, I am going back to the "Motherland," as I am a very Irish girl. Anyone who has seen me after an hour in the sun can vouch for that! Sooo, here I am, getting back to my roots, and I wanted to make this webpage so that everyone I love back home could see what I was up to!!!

I decided to come to Galway because I thought I could get the best of both worlds--the city and the countryside. Galway is a great city, but much dirtier than I expected. So it is really nice to hop on a bus and drive ten minutes and be in the lush green countryside that you always see on calendars!

Just so you all know, this is the first real website I have actually tried to do... So I'm going to have to apologize for its simplicity. Thanks for visiting!! And keep on checking back, because I'm changing it and adding to it daily!!
