What we do in life, echos in eternity. ---From "The Gladiator"

VIDEO RENTALS RECOMMENDED BY CAROLE:
This movie was so good! A friend of mine at work and I spent a lot of time discussing this movie. We both saw it and loved it! It is long, about 3 hours, but well worth it. My husband and I watched it and really enjoyed it. It takes place in the depression era ('30's) in the death row of a small prison. Tom Hanks plays a prison guard who is very gentle and kind man, and respectful of all of the prisoners. It is just an emotionally touching movie that you won't be able to resist. A must see!!
Another wonderful movie directed by Tim Burton. Starring Johnny Depp and Christina Ricci in the classic tale of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman. I loved it!! Scary movies really get to me, but this one was just the right amount of suspense and supernatural. I loved the way it was filmed in a grayish dreamy style to make it seem so real. I want to get the book and read the original novel. A great movie to watch around Halloween!!

TV PROGRAMS RECOMMENDED BY CAROLE:
This show was soooo funny!!! My husband and I watched it the other night. It is on late - not a show for young kids to watch. It is about the (sex, obviously) lives of 4 single women. No topic is to embarrassing for them to talk about, and it goes into pretty graphic detail. The things that happen to them are hilarious. Funny!!

BOOKS RECOMMENDED BY CAROLE:
1) I love romance novels and these are the last 2 that I have read and which were pretty good: 'Renegade Love' by Katherine Sutcliffe and 'Love's Encore' by Sandra Brown. What can I say about them? They are typical romance novels!!!

MUSIC VIDEOS RECOMMENDED BY CAROLE:
Is There Life Out There by Reba McIntyre
Reba is one of my favourite singers of all time. Her video is so inspiring and touching. It makes me cry everytime I see it! A woman who thinks there must be something better out there and is struggling to get what she wants, only to find in the end when she gets it how important her family really is to her.
