The San Francisco Family was never a large family, much like their California brothers in San Jose and Los Angeles. The Lanza Crime Family is now defunct with James Lanza the last listed Boss at his death in 1989. However, Frank "Skinny" Velotta and Angelo Commito were both made members who were not out of prison at the time of Lanza's death and have since been released, no reports on whether or not Velotta and Commito are either active together functioning as a "family" or if the two men are active with another family or inactive.
