Happy Halloween!
How It All Got Started
Halloween more or less started in Ireland by people who followed the "Druid" religion. In this
religion, November first was considered the beginning of a new year on the calendar.
Like our New Year, the holiday was started the night before. [October 31st] It was believed
that on this day, all spirits who had died in the past year would rise again to roam the earth on that night.
Celebrated Today
Halloween today is celebrated with many varieties of costumes, trick-or-treating, ghosts and
goblins, decorations, and parties. Nowadays, Halloween is one of the favorite holidays
